Ok, so being Party President isn't serious business 24/7. What it is, is a lot of work. I've been doing this job two months now (really more like five...but whatever), and I've loved my time as Party President. That's why I'm running again. Gonna hat trick this thing.
As with my last article, this won't have a lot of flowery prose and images. My next article will be pretty, I promise.
I think that the nature of these two articles are very representative of my gameplay here in eRepublik, and definitely as Party President. I focus on tangible results. Game mechanics. I do what I can to help those who put in some effort to help themselves, and I focus on taking the active membership as far as they can possibly go. I've led us to pluralities in Congress every month except for when we were betrayed by Stanley Ibcus. We've elected three Presidents over four months. Party membership is up.
To this end, I run new players who show solid activity for Congress, and I invest party resources to match their efforts to win elections. Portcolumbus is one of the guys I ran for their first term, and while we all enjoyed his meltdown over his keyboard, when he isn't having technical difficulties he has been one of our most active congress members and has (adorably) fallen into some of those freshmen pitfalls of office. I hope he, and players like him, continue to migrate to USWP and help us continue to pump out quality leadership.
Another example of people I've helped along their path is our immediate past President Alexander_Auctoritas. Months ago he came to the USWP Executive Board asking what he needed to do and learn to one day be a viable candidate for President, and a few of us gave him some advice. I saw that he had a drive that is far too uncommon in eRepublik over the last year or so and decided to help him however I could. While I obviously can't take credit for all of what Alex accomplished, I did everything I could to support him, and try to let my knowledge be of use to him. We've grown to become good friends, and I was very proud of the job he did as President.
All that aside, the one thing the USWP can count on from me is consistency. Since I joined the USWP in January under the Hadrian X Administration, I've worked hard for this party. I never let any of my other jobs stop me from doing whatever I could for the party. I spent a solid eight months in party leadership roles before I ran for President of this party, just to make sure I was as prepared as possible, and knew how best to use what resources were available to me.
As much as I love tooting my own horn (lawl, innuendo), I'm going to stop there and let a few of my friends speak for me a bit:
Pfeiffer understands the congressional election cycle and has made it his bi*ch.
USWP Executive Board Member, PAC Director, Congressman, CO of SEAL Team 6
Pfeiffer knows how to get shit done. If you want something done and more importantly, done correctly the first time, call Pfeiffer. I did and never regretted it.
18th President of the United States, USWP Member, eUSA Forum Admin/Owner
Pfeiffer has worked tirelessly to recharge the batteries of a previously-tired party and reminded us that the USWP is still the most successful party in the history of the eUSA.
32nd President of the United States, Former Speaker of the House, Former USWP Chief of Staff, Executive Board Member
Thanks for reading all of this, thanks to my friends for the kind words, and thanks to the USWP for all they've done for me and for this country.
and now a tradition pic...more classy though
