Presidential Elections:

Well, the presidential elections are happening on December 5, 3 days from now. The four candidates running are:

Josh Frost (USWP) - Presidential Platform
Vice President: Woxan

Jewitt (UIP) - Presidential Platform
Vice President: PigInZen

Mattoze5 (CvP) - Presidential Platform
Vice President: Aren Perry

Greg 454 (Republican) - Presidential Platform
Vice President: Brett Miller

Personally, I do not have much to say on this topic except that I'm surprised that Brett Miller managed to become a vice presidential candidate (albeit on a ticket that has no chance of winning).
Also, even though I voted for Jewitt last month, I will be voting for Josh Frost this month. Why? Truthfully, I was a little bit unsure about Josh Frost at the beginning of this term, but I am now incredibly impressed. This term has seen several important accomplishments, including peace with France, war games with Ireland, and joining EDEN. One final thing that I want to mention is that, in my opinion, Josh Frost has done an excellent job of working and communicating with Congress. For these reasons, I am changing my mind from last month.

Losing a friend
My closest friend in this game (besides Devan) has resigned to two-clicking. b. k. blake was one of the first people I met when I first ventured onto IRC, and he was always a great, cheerful (and occasionally completely random) person to talk to. His announcement was incredibly sad for me, and I wish him luck in whatever he is doing IRL.

TRIVIA COMPETITION
Some of you might have heard of me referred to as the "Trivia Queen". This well-deserved nickname comes from the fact that I dominated the USWP at trivia on IRC, and have gotten into some strong matches with the Libs, and now I am putting my enthusiasm for trivia to good use. That's right, I'm running a trivia competition for the USWP, with a Q1 house as a prize. To sign up, go to this form, and follow the instructions at the top. The date and time will be decided by what days/time the majority of competitors can be available. There is an entry fee of 7 USD, see the form for details.

On a more serious note
Drama sucks. I won't go into any specifics here, but there have been some recent problems that have nearly driven me to quit. I decided to get more involved in eRep because I needed a break from school, which is stressful enough on its own. I don't want to log on right after school each day just to see pointless bickering and moaning. After a while, seeing that sucks the fun out of the game. Like I said, no specifics, but there have been times, and there will be times in the future, where people need to stop and remind themselves that this is a game, and that maybe it's okay to relax once in a while. Because I know, that if this game stops being fun and starts solely being stressful, I have no reason to play.
