It's already a third of the way through the Party Presidential term, and our party, the CPP, is starting to get back on it's tracks, slowly but steadily! It may not seem like it right now, but inside, we are starting to lay the foundations for a new Canadian Paradox Party - one that is more welcoming to younger members, and more inviting to older members! But just what HAVE we done so far? And what do we plan on doing? Hopefully those two questions will be modestly answered in this article.

CONGRESSIONAL RUNS IN THE CANADIAN PARADOX PARTY


For the January-February term of Congress, the Canadian Paradox Party is sadly not proposing any candidates. However, I would like to personally extend my greatest thanks to both the Democratic Action League, and EPIC, whom both offered the Canadian Paradox Party some congressional running spots - unfortunately there were just not enough people interested in running this term.

However, in terms of who the CPP will "support" in congress (i.e. whose party we would favour). The simple answer is thatL the Canadian Paradox party will not favour ONE party, but rather emphasise the need of free vote, and personal opinion. The Canadian Paradox Party will NOT force it's members to vote one person or the other, as it is entirely the citizen's choice as to whom he/she would like to vote for. If they have reason to vote for a candidate, then they (the members) so can, no questions asked.

It has always been like that in the CPP, and always will be.

PRESIDENTIAL RUNS IN THE CANADIAN PARADOX PARTY


As of two days ago, the Canadian Paradox Party has opened up for numerous applications, nominations, and (eventually) reviews of Canadian President Nominees, should they so choose to look for CPP support.

To get our support, a CP candidate must do one of two things:

a) Get in contact directly with ME, 00AngryMobMan00, the Party President of the CPP

b) Go on to our forums (http://thecpp.freeforums.org/), make an account, get masked, and then post in the appropriate thread, stating their interest for CP support.

Currently however, two people has come looking for CPP support; those people being Acacia Mason (on behalf of Aeriala) as well as Octavian F. Since there are two people (if not more soon), the Canadian Paradox Party has already started arranging for a Party-Wide vote to happen on the 31st of January, lasting until the 2nd of February, for members to decide who the CPP shall support. These results will of course be made public.

PUBLIC RELATIONS/MEMBER HELP IN THE CPP


The Canadian Paradox Party, has already started a few initiatives in getting its public face back together. What do I mean by public face? Well, by that I mean, our media appearance. What do people think of, when they think of CPP? The CPP already has TWO PROGRAMS/ITEMS to help with our appearance, and is looking at a THIRD, as I will explain:

Our first social initiative that we have done, is to retake our org. account. With the help of a few people, the Canadian Paradox Party has been able to retrieve it's org. back from a previous CPP Party President. Because of this, the Canadian Paradox Party now has it's newspaper back, The Paradoxian Standard which is now found here: The Paradoxian Standard Newspaper - with this newspaper (and the newspapers of our members), we will be getting our name known to society! To eCanada!

Our second member initiative, is our "Young Paradoxians Program", which is basically a charity for new members. Although a full breakdown of the program can be seen HERE, I will give you the gist of it. Basically, the Canadian Paradox Party has now started a member initiative program, meaning that members, whom are both old and new to the CPP, are welcome to ask for help and assistance (should it be guidance, money, weapons, food, etc..) from the CPP executive, 100% free! This program is purely designed to HELP MEMBERS OUT!

Our third member initiative (which will be coming out soon), is our CPP industries - in which we will give party members the opportunity to work at a very reasonable wage (at or above market value), which will both increase their "giving back" to the party (i.e. making the CPP a profit in the companies), as well as giving them a revenue source!

THE EXECUTIVE MEMBERS OF THE CPP


This is actually an interesting point. Did you know, that the Canadian Paradox Party has gone FIVE STRAIGHT MONTHS WITHOUT AN EXECUTIVE CABINET?? Excluding myself being a vice-Party President, the CPP has had no REAL EXECUTIVE... no recruiters, no PR managers, nothing. This ends now.

As of now the Canadian Paradox Party is starting to rebuild it's executive. As of this point, I wish NOT to reveal who will be in it as it is not finished yet, but once it is finalized, I will certainly make the entire thing public. (Again, I wish not to reveal what we have so far in terms of names, but i will reveal what we have so far in terms of positions planned).


Here are the positions that we are filling:

-Head of Recruitment
-Head of Public Relations
-Head of Finance
-Executive Advisor
-Advisor

One or two still need to be confirmed - and once they are, I shall reveal who is who!

The Canadian Paradox Party is being reborn. We are certainly no where even close to being finished, no doubt about that... the CPP is still on life-support.... but we're building her back up, slowly and steadily. It's coming back.
