Join the new world

Today is elections for president, and the term that is ending today had a dramatic start for eNorway, followed by what soon evolved into a world war. Here is a summary of events from a Norwegian perspective

WEEK 14

WEEK 15
After the PTO, eNorway had her original regions restored. We kept the Vestlandet hospital built by eUK during their campaign to take advantage of the cheating, but the ones lost in Nord-Norge, Ostlandet and Sorlandet were not replaced. Recently, a poll among members of the current congress showed that the majority wants to wait for eRepublik V2 to be launched instead of rebuilding hospitals in all regions.
During the Party elections on Apr 15, the PTO nests Justice And Development Party and Vikings Party were taken over and put under control of loyal Norwegians.

WEEK 16
The liberation of Finland from Russian occupation is completed with the return of the regions Oulu and Lapland.
It becomes apparant that worldwide war is brewing as a large number of attacks are launched from both the major alliances Phoenix and EDEN. The war activities escalates during the week and offer the largest battle ever up to that time, as over 22 million damage points are dealt in the Rhone Alps, causing Poland to lose this region to Slovenia at its allies. Shortly after, the region is brought back under EDEN control by Spain which Slovenia had no active MPPs against.
Minister of Defense, Eha Pappkriger, resigns his position due to RL obligations and is replaced by Eris Caelestis for the rest of the term.
The April 25 congress elections becomes another display of PTO activity as multi-account holders manage to elect hostile candidates. This attempt fails miserably, however, as admins act fast and bans a high number of multi cheaters world wide. At present, only 30 of the 40 congress seats are therefore filled in the Norwegian congress for the rest of the term.

WEEK 17
The world war continues. On April 28, another epic battle is seen as China with the assistance of EDEN mobile troops manage to win a resistance war in the high-iron region of Heilongjiang (a region popularly referred to as "Hello Kitty&quot😉, taking it back from Hungarian control. This victory allows EDEN forces to push on, soon moving deep into the Hungarian core regions.
Initiative has shifted back and forth all through the war, and Norway has been there all the way fighting alongside our EDEN allies.

WEEK 18
At the end the term, eNorway had achieved two of the presidential goals set by the PTOer seko38 in April: We have had an increase in GDP of over 27% and we have kept our current 6 regions. Seems we managed that well without him.
