So I happened to notice...

Day 782, 21:25 Published in USA USA by Chris Willson
Sorry for the wall of text but there’s a lot to criticize EDEN for so here we go!

That Gaius Julius’ latest article promotes what EDEN, particularly the eUS, was against during the last World War. This is imperialism, only one of other things that has disappointed me greatly. These other things include the Battle of Hello-Kitty, Jewitt’s strategical error in Asia, and the eUS going back to its usual politics.

EDEN’s Imperialistic Actions

As all of you should know, eCroatia conquered eSlovenia, ePoland conquered eGermany, and eSpain has practically conquered eFrance. This seems familiar… Oh yeah! eFrance conquered eSpain and ePortugal, eRussia, eIndonesia, eHungary, eIran, and the eUK occupied eCanada and the eUS. The word “IMPERIALISTS” yelled by EDEN members can be easily remembered, but I can’t seem to find one Phoenix member who says the same thing about EDEN now (although its actions are clearly imperialistic). Now look where we are. eSpain, eCanada, and the eUSA have all of their original regions again. Don’t you think the same thing will happen to eSlovenia, eGermany, and eFrance?

And now EDEN wants to get revenge on the eUK. They are back-stabbers, nobody can deny this. How about we look at some quotes about revenge:

“The tree of revenge does not carry fruit”
“Revenge is always the weak pleasure of a little and narrow mind”
“Revenge is sweet, sweeter than life itself - so say fools”
“Success would be the best revenge.”

EDEN could let its success be its revenge but instead it will choose to be narrow-minded and not look at the consequences of continuing its imperialistic actions.

Oh, and to those of you who say there’s no place for ethics in this game, I would like to refer to Arjay Phoenician’s great article giving an argument for ethics in this game.

The Battle of Hello-Kitty

Let’s be honest, the Battle of Hello-Kitty was pretty much like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bpm0FzQ3zQU

First, President Jewitt originally tried to label the Battle of Hello-Kitty a “blocking attack”. This got people such as Woxan, presidential candidate last month, and Josh Frost, supporter of Woxan, on the offensive against Jewitt who cleared up the false information in their two articles Woxan for President and a Commentary and Goals + Final Election Comments (I’ll analyze these articles in the section “eUS – Politics as Usual…”).

Second, President Jewitt says in his article “The Defeat that Turned the War” that the wall was much below that of the wall of Liaoning’s at the same time. I don’t know what wall he was looking at but I believe I saw the wall in Liaoning below 1 million in the final hours of the battle which is different than the wall in the final hours of the Hello-Kitty battle. There was no way the battle could be won but EDEN chose to make an effort anyways. EDEN members quickly moved to China and fought in the China-Hungary battle for Hello-Kitty. They even chose to tank the impenetrable wall. The stupidity of this decision astounds me.

Jewitt’s Strategical Error in Asia

What’s really going on with the Jewitt Administration?

Didn’t admit the truth at first about the Battle of Hello-Kitty and then made the taking of Hello-Kitty even harder than it was before. eHungary now occupies the Inner Mongolia region which prohibits the eUS and eChina from region swapping Inner Mongolia to make a move towards Hello-Kitty. Actually, if the eUS makes any move near Hello-Kitty then eHungary can attack the eUS since Inner Mongolia is that big. This strategic error has made the taking of Hello-Kitty into a pipe-dream (not that it wasn’t a pipe-dream before. I mean, eHungary can definitely hold its own on the battlefield as shown in the two battles of Hello-Kitty).

eUS – Politics as Usual…

I remember during the last World War that the eUS united together when it came to politics. Now I’m beginning to see the eUS shift back to the way politics used to be: mudslinging and criticizing, doing anything to win. The December Presidential Elections was the biggest sign to me that the eUS is going back to its old ways. In particular, there was a lot of mudslinging from Woxan and his main supporter Josh Frosh. In Woxan’s article ”Goals + Final Election Comments”, he indirectly criticizes Jewitt for naming the Battle of Hello-Kitty a “blocking attack”:

“Recently, the American/Chinese dual attack on Heilongjiang was called a "blocking attack,"… Americans can handle the truth if we suffered an actual loss; they do not have to have their efforts insulted by petty euphemisms.”

In Josh Frost’s article ”Woxan for President and a Commentary”, he indirectly criticizes Jewitt for two things: The first thing is that Jewitt renamed the “Confederate States of America” into the ”United States”. Josh criticizes this by bolding the word “America” when he says “eUnited States of America”. The second thing that he criticizes Jewitt for is making the Hello-Kitty battle into a “blocking attack”:

“Look America it is time for a little "truthiness" The attack on Hello Kitty was not a block..period… You certainly don't tank those battles costing thousands of gold if you are blocking. By that time Hungary had retreated the Romanian regions, if our objective was to block we had clearly won. Our objective was clearly to win Hello Kitty… My message to the American people on this is simple, don't buy into this bull crap.”

Final Comments

With all this said, I am not going to stick with the losing side in this war and watch EDEN fall like PEACE did. I have already moved to eHungary to defend the eUK when it gets attacked. I may move to eSpain, eCroatia, or ePoland to fight for the Resistance if it looks promising.

To Phoenix, I realize that it may take a while for me to gain your trust since I am a former Marine (yes, I resign if you haven’t caught the drift yet) but I will gain your trust eventually. I’m here for a mission as long as it’s to help our allies regain regions or defend original regions. I’m not here to participate in imperialistic plans – let me make that clear.

Well there’s only one more thing to say: HAIL PHOENIX!
