After the examples of Poncho warrior I have decided to write shortly about my country and the city I live in.

The biggest occasion for this is 69-Anniversary of liberating Skopje.

Macedonia one of the oldest country in the world,since before our time.

From Macedonia originate Filip II, Alexander III the Macedonian.Macedonia is mentioned 9 times in the world Bible.

On the teritory of Macedonia is spreaded a lot of blood.
Macedonia was involved in all the World wars that happened.
The two balkan wars were for here teritory after the occupation of the Ottomans(Turks that rulled 500 years on this region)
Also Macedonia was occupied from the Kingdom of Serbia and Croatia.
Also from the Nazies.
Let's talk more about them...On 13 november 69 years ago fighters from 42 and 50 regiment of National liberation divison of the Macedonian army
and 16 macedonian regimet liberated Skopje from nazi's occupation.

After couple of days hard fight with the 22 German division,formed of 47 and 65 regiment and parts of the 11 air decant division,
also with the German fortress brigade "AngerMiler" that was spreaded in the Kacanik Gorge(Качаниска Клисура),fighters with wining march got in to the city.

Skopje is two times flooded,one time burned and survived one earthquake.
In Skopje is borned the biggest Humanitarian in the world Mother Teresa.

In the last 5 years Skopje is having a very big change in the infrastructure.It is getting back in the old Style before the earthquake (1963)
