Radio Free America - Day 1,487

Day 1,487, 15:37 Published in USA USA by Blank Keating

Like America itself, the media in this game is a neverending experiment. As such, I present my newest experiment, Radio Free America.

Part compilation article and part podcast, every two or three days I will post an article and an audio show at the same time recapping events both in America and internationally, along with linking articles of interest. All of this will be done with neutrality and with the interest of a more exciting media. While these articles will mostly be linkfests, the audio will be a little more personal, and generally a lot more succinct (three minutes or so). My language will be mostly PG rated, in case you were thinking (for some reason) of letting everyone around you listen to me.

The reason for having essentially two similar articles in word and voice is simple: wading through every article in the media is time-consuming with eRep lag, is rather irritating, and demands your undivided attention. With this, you can put it in the background, throw in some fights or make a ham sammich, and then click and vote the articles that sounded good in one fell swoop.

So, without further banter, I present the inaugural edition of Radio Free America:

I googled "amateurs" for PiZ, which I now see was an error in judgement.

We Bow to No ONE - Stealing the headlines worldwide today is a release from the White House celebrating the liberation of America's states from ONE.

Amateurs and Saboteurs! - Forum administrator and former NCP candidate PigInZen is not happy about recent events: he's calling out the executive for hijacking his NCP candidacy.

eUSA Daily Report - A relative newcomer to the media world, Sgt. Bob is aggregating events and financial information for the good of America.

On the personal side of things, the long time broadcaster Jon Malcom turned 21 on Wednesday and somehow didn't drown in alcohol references. Gulden Draak also petitioned Pfeiffer to "clean out his pipes" yesterday.

Pizza the Hut didn't waste any time declaring his victory to the world.

American of the Year - Portcolumbus is running a 5-way Battle of the Controversial Stars for the title of American of the Year. Rainy Sunday should totally destroy everyone else. Oh right, neutrality...

Mission Accomplished - Pizza the Hut, love him or hate him, came out on top of the highly contested battle for the NCP. His victory article was published this morning for an inevitable monsoon of insults, cheers, and middling groans.

Where In The World is 48th Congress? - Charismatic Congress Critter Custer has opened the windows of the legislature for a breath of transparency. You can see what's going on in the elected house in the congress paper's last article.

Poland's new strategy involves throwing their bodies at you. Over and over.

ONE's Journey - The end of days for ONE is being predicted by a Polish journalist after troubling moves with Turkey and Iran.

Polandball Holds Several Pokemon - Watchful EDENites are fighting a war of attrition with a veritable tidal wave of Polish multis.

Unity Through Text Walls - A warrior poet from Sweden throws out enough ONE inspirational speeches to knock Al Pacino and Alec Baldwin on their asses.

USA's Revenge - A bro from Chile records the long and arduous journey in America from invasion to recovery in art's purest form: the GIF.

When Speedcat isn't jumping in huge piles of money, he's jumping in huge piles of Santa hookers.

Santa Speedy - The good man McNasty is doing his annual doling out of goods and pictures of women.

Wrote an article you think should be here? Seen one in a different country? Send it to me and I might add it!

Remember to vote this article, then run down all those links and toss a V/S to the writers - they deserve it.

Until next time,
