America like many other countries has many citizens, many players logging in everyday, checking a couple of things, working, fighting then logging off. Regardless of our strong wishes for the contrary America is a nation of two clickers. Our government knows this and carefully, and at times even childishly tries to direct 2 clicker damage and attention into specific battles. I say childishly because sometimes its the only way a 2 clicker knows how and where to fight. The bulk are 2 clickers but eAmerica like RL America is a nation of various kinds of players. Think of it this way, a beach has countless grains of sand, a couple hundred thousand shell pieces, a few thousand shells and a couple hundred well preserved shells, shells worth keeping and displaying. In the same manner is America.
2 clickers, like sand at a beach are all around us. We got plenty 2 clickers to go around, although valuable in large quantities they are next to worthless by themselves. They have little in-depth knowledge of the game and are easily swayed and fooled into fighting at the wrong time or battle. Together 2 clickers are a formidable force, clocking in astounding damage scores, unfortunately they often times clock in astounding damage in the wrong battle and are only available at middle of the day hours, too early or two late and the bulk of Americas population is off line. Active players like pieces of shells on the shore line aren't rare either, although much more eRep educated and committed then 2 clickers when things get tough and staying awake a few extra hours for a battle or logging in for a couple of more hours then usual is required, they "like 2 clickers" don't stick around long enough to pay the price for victory. They are dependable but only to a certain point, ask for too much and active players tend to be unavailable, or "busy".
Then there are committed players, like regular shells they are a bit harder to find, might have to go knee deep to find these at the beach. Committed players are rare, wont find them just anywhere, look into the Marines or Army to find a higher concentration of committed players. These players are the ones willing to go late into a night to catch a battle, following precise orders comes naturally to them. Committed players rarely miss work or training, they are not only committed to leveling up but will go the extra mile to help their country. For them its not a mater of if they can jump but how high you require them to jump. Some congress men and women are among the committed players in America, so are many armed forces members, platoon commanders and various militias.
Finally there are the Patriots, far removed from the crowd and easily recognized. Patriots are the truly rare and worth while shells you might find at the beach. Contrary to popular belief patriots are not only beta giants but include V1 players who have through perseverance and hard work shown to be more then just committed, they are a step higher then that. When you see names like Josh Frost, Max Mcfarland, Gaius Julius, Eugene Harlot you don't think of committed players, you think of patriots.
They are the ones many of us including myself look up to, they could brag about their accomplishments but instead choose to let their accomplishments speak for themselves. America has been blesses with many patriots, some have gone some have stuck around, everyday they do stick around is another lucky day for America, what they do in a day the rest of us could only hope to accomplish in 2 or 3 weeks. The only regret patriots like Harrison, Emerick, Frost have is that they have but 24 hours a day to give for their country.
So what are you, a grain of sand? perhaps a common shell...what could you do to better yourself or to at least work towards being an asset to your country? Its time we stop treating America like its #1 in the world and invisible, we have weaknesses, things that need to be worked on. Don't be average, don't be common, America needs you to be committed and there when the time comes. Its time to put childish 2 clicking aside, immerse yourself into the game play, its the only way to really and truly enjoy eRepublik to the fullest. Be serious and give your country what it deserves, anything less and your dead weight. With hard work, perseverance, commitment to country and a bit of luck who knows, you could one day be called a Patriot.

Patriotism means love of mother country. A patriot loves his mother-land. The patriots are loved by the whole country. Hence, patriotism is considered as a commendable quality.
Patriotism is not doubt useful in the interest of the country and the nation. The nation is strongly built upon the sacrifice of the patriots. The patriots give their money, time, energy and life for the good of the country. A patriot think of his country. He wants that his country should be great and prosperous. He wants that his country should be ideal in every field. So, patriotism is highly useful. Because it makes the people to think of their own country.
The extreme form of patriotism is not desirable. Because the blind patriots do not care for the humanitarianism. They forget that they are the members of a greater society which is called the human society. He forgets the interest of the human beings as a whole. He forgets justice when he thinks of his country's interest. He believes in the principle 'My country, right or wrong'. He commits many wrong things in the interest of his country. It is really not good. We should think in the term of one world and one human society. We should contemplate a world-Government.
Patriotism is no doubt a good quality. But we should always avoid the dark side of patriotism. We should not forget justice and fair play when we think the interest of our own country.

All the talk of "justice" and "society" makes me laugh. Very nebulous rhetoric, but very effective. When you write about those things, just remember that "society" isn't a living, breathing entity - just a lot of individuals; specifically, a few "great" men and their fans.
