Back to take a look at what's up since my last article. The following is simply my comment to Dru Blood's article. Also, to be fair, here's the link to Haliman's reply of that article. Both make valid points.

I could go on and on but let's face it, no one really cares that much. You're either on one side or the other. My hope is that a few voices might join mine, if for no other reason then to have us say, "I told you so!", when the deal goes down.

BTW, it appears that EZC is lining up with the ranks. Look for OMS to disappear soon.

Hi! What MU do you belong to?

I can't believe that people actually support a unified military command. It puts too many eggs in one basket. Military people tend to listen to their superiors, even for social interaction. Do we want more 2-clickers taking ques, on who to vote for, from a one sided mil command? This is not a RL situation where economics and command structure are relevant. A militia commander gets on #eus-war or receives direct orders from SoD/POTUS. The militia delivers the damage requested. The militia gets paid. I realize that is too damned simple for some folks to grasp, RP if you like, but that's all that is necessary here.


With the new $400k donation limit there is no need to be stingy with funding. As a matter of fact, that is why Pfeiffer is NOW PUSHING for the merge of the major militias into the USAF. If accomplished, it will have no major impact on the funding of his precious UM squad. Before the $100k limit was divided with the bulk going to the USAF, a dab to OMS, a dab to DoI, etc... You get the idea. Now 'we' have 4x the budget. Now everyone is on board with sucking the independent MU's into a USAF bed. Once you get into that bed you may never get out whole. I guarantee that if you change your mind later, that 'incentives' will be offered to your members to stay in the USAF.
