While without a doubt, a broken country, the new president of France promises change to the country. Azaret has stated that he wants to see a "possible réforme militaire" within the country's army. The army has lately been inactive and the country has been relying on resistance wars to regain territory. Azaret also states that he wishes to see a new hospital to prepare for a possible babyboom but not only that, to help heal citizens when they fight.

France only has around 1000 people within its small borders, but even that is larger than the population of Austria. The majority of the population live in the capital region of France, Auvergne. While France remains to have no regions with high amounts of produce (e.g. wood, grain and diamonds), both have medium grain available, which arguably is not enough to use internally. This means that France will have to import quite a lot of its materials needed to make necessary day to day items and war items.

Back to the president of France. France right now appears to be a backwards country, although this is hardly surprising due to its position. The President of France wishes to create a Tutoring / Sponsorship for new players joining France - Tutorat/Parrainage pour tout les jeunes joueurs.

Azaret has also stated that he wishes France to participate in future talks with the following countries regarding MPPs: Venezuela, Ireland, Chile, UNL, Belgium, Austria and Moldova. The Mutual Protection Pact with Austria has since ran out, however, it appears as though France wouldn't mind restablishing it as assurance between the two countries. As per the French ministries, the president of France wants to review them all due to a lack of communication also due to recent events.

Perhaps we can see the rise of France in the coming months as President Azaret looks hopeful for the new beginning of the country. As a Frenchman would say: Vive la France !

Extracted from The British Observer - Written by Thomas765 - 7th March 2010

The world recently saw either a new president or a president retain his or her power. The eUK saw a new Prime Minister come into power. The Unity Party received 47.41% of the vote on Friday, however, only 28% of the population voted. What happened to the other 72%? Surely there are more than that active, even though it was the 1198 people that voted. The Unity Party were certainly not the underdogs in the elections, the party had 6 other parties supporting them.

In regards to the population, the capital city of London has more than half of the United Kingdom population living within its limits. The reason being is that London has the only Defence System and Hospital in the United Kingdom. Well, why don't the eUK build some more hospitals and defence systems across the country? The UK government would rather spend the money of MPPs that could help defend the country, it's better having one Q5 hospital, one Q5 defence system and ten MPPs than twelve Q5 hospitals and Q5 defence systems.

British Citizens are being asked to move to London where they can take advantage of these benefits while they still can. The eRepublik team are changing the rules with regards to hospitals. Members will not be able to gain wellness from the hospitals, only get back the wellness lost from fights.
