Interesting Elections Around the World; Argentina in South Africa

Malaysia & Philippines

As a disruption of the natural flow of the eWorld, the daily training war between Malaysia and the Philippines had been temporarily cancelled a few days ago and the latter attacked China instead.
On the election day, Malaysia occupied two Filipino regions, Visayas and Mindanao. Apparently they were ridden with hostile forces and thus the government asked their allies to remove them from the elections in order to ward off a foreign political takeover.
To ensure that their people still have a chance to fight, the Philippines thus instead started a training battle with China. Today however the two regions are already being returned to the Philippines again by means of resistance wars, and the Sol war games resumed normally.

Germany

During a series of resistance wars a few days prior to congress elections, which was also when the United Kingdom briefly regained the offence, Germany was brought back to the map in the form of the Saarland and Bavaria. The elections went smoothly and without foreign interference. Unlike...

Belgium

,...where there were more PTO parties than actual Belgian once. Croatian, Polish, and US American groups all aimed to subdue Belgium to their rule, with the latter veiling their intents by wrongly claiming that the country would be threatened by a Phoenix PTO.
Ultimately though, the Belgium for Belgians party succeeded and won 45% of the congress.
Nonetheless, the other 55% are held by the three PTO factions and the nation's sovereignty is still threatened - If its enemies joined forces, they could block any attempts to reform the country and bring it to ruin.

Switzerland

A group of Russian exiles called Shaolin apparently sought to take over Switzerland; in response, Spain occupied most of the country's regions.
Of what I gather, while the Shaolin naturally pursued a Russian-friendly course they acted independently and without direct connection to Phoenix or Russia, merely seeking a new home similarly to the Theocrats who still occupy South Korea.
I heard of some accusing the ruling coalition of SLP and SDP to which the Swiss president Eleriel belongs to as well of using this affair as a pretext to manipulate the elections in their favour though.

Argentina

Argentina joined Phoenix recently, and through a region swap with Indonesia gained a foothold in South Africa. Its ally had to pay a bitter price though, as its attempt to seize further regions resulted in it being expelled from the African continent, reducing Indonesia to but its core regions.
It seemed as though Indonesia was trying to clear a path for Argentina to the Asian conflict zone, but one thing puzzles me: Argentina recently signed an MPP with Thailand, which I originally assumed Indonesia would attack to allow Argentina to use it to set over to India, but this action contradicts such a plan... Perhaps they aimed to merely attack Australia?
