In Honour of the Fallen

Day 1,288, 04:57 Published in Canada Serbia by Coda

Over a year ago I wrote about my friend Marius "Scott" Coroleone who passed away. I talked to him every morning on Skype during the summer and we became really good friends. He was a great leader, soldier, and friend. Unfortunately he was very sick due and eventually succumbed to his injuries. It was a long, hard battle but Scott never complained.

Today is eCanada's Remembrance day. I've been reading articles about another great member of our community TFD (another great eCanadian) who passed away after Scott.

If you're a new member to the eCanada / erepublik community you won't remember him - however his influence on Canada is still lasting. His passion, drive, and humour shaped eCanada.

Please join me in remembrance of this true warrior and kind soul, Marius "Scott" Coroleone

As a reminder everyday of his loss I wear the ribbon on erepublik I made for Scott. If there is anyone else that would like to participate here is the image link.

I wrote something in my previous article that I think should be a reminder not just once a year but on our hearts every day.

"If there was something to learn from Scott's passing away its to never take for granted what you have. Erepublik is a community and behind the gamer tag is a real person. If someone on erepublik has made you smile, made a difference in your life, or been there for you when you needed it tell them. Never be afraid to let others know how much you truly appreciate everything that they do for you. The people make this game fun, and losing a member such as Scott will be felt by the community."

Marius "Scott" Coroleone, and TFD may you rest in peace and your legacy live on.
