I've returned, more or less.

It's been about a year and a half since I lost interest in eRepublik. I logged in to my account today for the first time since then and I was surprised to see that I was not dead, but in fact at full health - and apparently now owned land!

Last I played, eCanada was nearly eradicated from the map and the CAF just succeeded in recapturing one of the provinces. I had just risen to the rank of CAF Elite, and had aspirations to run for Congress as soon as eCanada had reestablished itself. Needless to say, my plans never came to fruition as politics in eCanada were always run by the old dogs, and it was always the same names getting elected. From what I recall, Jacobi was CP 6 times, then announced that he would no longer run for CP, took a month off and went on to become CP another 8 times or something ridiculous like that.

I hope eCanada has changed as much as this game's interface, and what had become stagnant has now become rich and innovative. Until next time, my one subscriber.
