Here is why - JC4CP or: How I Learned To Stop Complaining And Run For President
He has presented a very strong manifesto and as he says he stands the strongest chance to remove baggage from previous decades to derail our efforts to move the UK forward.
You might wonder why I am running then. Continue to read and find out.
I’ve been in Government for a while, I enjoy it and although I’ve seen and worked with many citizens who hold a more natural and better talent for it I’ve learned enough to be useful at it and hold a bit of pride of my record in Government. Although as with many things passion for it can have highs and lows. I’ve tried to remain a humble servant to the UK community and interests while our number of Government officials have ebbed and flowed.
This is because until we strongly unite our activity, passions and interests, putting aside differences, to me it has always remained prudent to keep active in our foreign diplomatic channels, keep UK TWs ticking over, keep our important resource regions safe, tend our player support schemes and keep our financial position stable. So change can start from a position of stability.
Hence why I ask for the support of my party to run so we had someone to meet the expectations that we hold on the office of our Country President whilst remaining very interested in what Jiminy would produce, him being one of our most talented fighters and MoD we've ever had.
Jiminy has not disappointed and I feel we do need a fresh citizen in the office of Country President. I don’t mean to disappoint those who have already supported me in my campaign and I hope you understand my late shift to supporting Jiminy after reading his manifesto. I have offered to be part of Jinimy's Government so hopefully, elements of my manifesto will be realised.

Player Support
Supporting our player base remains vital. There should be a steady flow of schemes to provide the UK citizens weapons, food, Training Ground Grants, Q1 Housing grants and guidance. These should be a balance between citizen and country needs at the time.
Government Communication
National Feed Shouts, In-game PMs, Discord, Telegram
In-game messages involving UK MU commanders, 2nd Commanders, Captains and fighters to support the coordination of UK damage for the UK and her allies.
National wall feed shouts can also be used to keep a larger group of UK citizens informed and updated.
The eUnited Kingdom telegram group seems to have gone quiet however telegram remains an important “Erepublik” tool.
I still maintain a seldom-visited Discord server. The British Armed Forces Coordination - Discord Server - which I’ll use more frequently if the interest is there.

Foreign, Defence and Financial Affair
I would like to resolve the situation with Ireland and establish a harmonious relationship once again. Initial discussions with officials in Ireland haven’t produced too much fruit and you can read this in an update from their CP
“At this moment we're in several talks about the region, but it serves us great to make TW's go faster. Having Northern Ireland means that Argentina can have a ping pong over there, so it reduces traffic in Louth and Shannon, those two regions are being used by the other three partners in our territory.”
However, my hope remains that UK Irish relationships are more valuable than TW gold farming efficiency however time will tell.
Bulgaria and Romania have been good TW partners although I would like to re-establish some increased normality to our TWs with them to provide our citizens increased communications on what battles to fight in and which RWs to support. Alongside this, there has been a proposal to make some amendments to our TWs with Bulgaria and Romania.
Romania will hold East of England for a while with an open TW with the Netherlands to offer the Netherlands protection from further attacks.
For the UK this results in the normal direct > RW - rotational occurring between London > SEoE > East Midlands (no RWs would be started or successful in East of England.)
We have high determination against Bulgaria in the West Midlands and to a lesser extent Wales, so Bulgaria is sitting in the North West of England and will operate a ping-pong with the North East of England.
As a result of the above, we'd have Wales > SWoE > West Midlands free to host a new TW partner. UAE has been proposed by Asteria. At times we have been short a UK battle so a third TW seems like a good idea and UAE is an acceptable choice.
I’d like to continue our resource concessions deal with Spain as it will continue to provide the eUK income from conceding our iron and fish for a proportion of Spain's GDP.
I'd probably consider ending our housing resource concession arrangements and potentially look to secure the UK 100% food bonus (if possible) instead however it will be decided based on Congressional input. I would say on the housing bonus front it has been an interesting scheme and our resource concession partners have been an absolute pleasure to work with so far. The balance between the scheme maintenances and the benefit it provides to the eUK isn't quite there. However, would welcome feedback from any which are using the 100% housing bonuses
Our monetary market activity should continue to generate extra revenue from our taxable income.
We should ensure our important regions for producers will remain free and our tax revenue from our training war partners will continue to be returned.
Finally, some sort of kills/rewards scheme for fighters might be nice. My initial thoughts are along the lines of at least 1 “Campaign of the Day”, where UK fighters get x amount of currency per kill multiplied by battle importance (ranging from x0.5 to x2.0) multiplied by the number of rounds in the campaign the citizen registered 25 or more kills.
The logic behind this kills/rewards scheme is to reward UK fighters hitting smart in our critical battles or even initially hitting in the correct TW battles, we hopefully can mitigate “overhitting” in battle as spreading your daily damage should provide greater reward then dropping a load of damage in one round. Jiminy is looking to establish a reward system based on both kills and whether the damage is in line with government orders.

Although the UKRP would naturally support our beloved citizen Huey in the CP Elections - we are always ready to listen to dialogue - and in this case note Huey's request to allow Jiminy to take his turn in his first term as CP.
The UKRP therefore, comply with Huey's wish - and select Jiminy as preferred candidate in this month's CP election.
Would have been nicer if you said you support Jiminy based on his plan and program, to support someone new who hasn't been CP before, not because someone has requested it...
This is the only person currently with any viable ukgov info. If Jiminy teamed up together then worth voting for. We need to get dead wood out of ukgov asap.
