Huey George for Country President - Manifesto and Cabinet

Day 5,644, 10:33 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Huey George

Introduction

Another manifesto season has begun led by AMD. As with all sequels, the promise is to be bigger, better, and bolder. \o/

As you'd possible expect from me... my vision for the United Kingdom and our citizens hasn't changed too much as it's the vision which has kept me in post for the length of time I have been.

> A friendly community where pilots and fighters of the UK can earn military rank, aircraft rank, medals/achievements in a wide range of local well-administered training wars.

> Our player base is supported by the effective use of our revenue while our books remain healthy and balanced.

> Effective government communication and administration supporting individual freedom and social equality within the UK. Friendly and cordial communication externally to keep the UK in its stable international position.

Manifesto

Foreign Affairs, Finance, Player Support and Defence

Over the past month, I've increased the number of UK training wars to an unprecedented twelve for the UK! If elected I will continue to administer these to the high standards required of our citizens and partners. In addition, I will continue to support the Christmas Air Programme, Air Cadet Programme, and British Armed Forces Q7 Weapon Rewards Scheme, which enable our citizens to participate in weekly challenges and events.

The rank growth of its citizens remains vital to any nation as the military module remains king. This is no different for the UK so all our citizens growing strength and rank is a great commodity to maintain.

Our monetary market activity should continue to generate additional revenue beyond our taxable income. We should ensure our important regions for producers will remain free or in the case of Scotland occupied by a non-TW partner country with 200% weapon bonus (currently our friends from Taiwan). Our tax revenue from our training war partners will continue to be returned. Our "spare" resources should be part of concession agreements with other countries (at this time with Spain our long-standing concessions partner). If elected I will continue to lead on these.

These economic activities provides the eUK vital sources of additional sources of revenue which can support existing player support scheme or be invested into new player support schemes.

Finally, I'm in a mind to introduce a few new areas of player support

I'd like to create a mentorship program where experienced players can volunteer to mentor new players, helping them understand the game mechanics, guiding them through the early stages of the game, and answering any questions they may have.

I'd like to implement a rewards system for new players to incentivise new players to stay engaged with the game by offering rewards for reaching certain milestones or completing certain tasks. This rewards program could also help with retaining older players who haven't already reached the identified milestones or completed the tasks.

This rewards systems could also include friendly contest events that can be used to build a sense of community and provide opportunities for new players to connect with each other and with more experienced players. If elected I'll work up some more detail and consult with Congress.

New player and more generally player retention remains a challenge for all countries, so perhaps time for some additional focus.

Government

I don't think any citizen who has experience with the way I run my government would ever say I'm too heavy-handed or authoritarian. I do think that this approach enables the democratic process to work unhindered. This extends to my cabinet, we all can have real life pressures and distractions, it's nice to share the load of government.

As a "government your way", as supportive or removed from your daily activity as you required, a government working effectively and quietly away in the background is another commodity the UK holds.

So on this note, I won't make any changes to my cabinet, I'll make no major changes in the way Government interacts with Congress and I will continue to utilise primarily the national feed to communicate with our citizens.

Through the door once more...?

Final thoughts

Thank you for taking the time to read my manifesto and I also want to thank you for your support during my past terms as Country President. My vision for our country has remained the same - a friendly community where our citizens can grow and be successful, with an open, transparent government delivering effective communication and administration to support individual freedom and social equality.

If re-elected, I will continue to prioritise player support, economic activities, and national rank growth. I will ensure the high standards of our training wars and support schemes are maintained, while also introducing a mentorship program and rewards system for new players.

As for government, I believe in a "government your way" approach, where we work quietly in the background to support you as needed. I won't make any major changes to my cabinet or the way we interact with Congress.

Thank you for your consideration, and I look forward to continuing to serve the best interests of our citizens if elected again. \o/
