My fellow Americans,

It has been a long and strange month.

It began when President Mizu took an unexpected leave of absence. The admins then implemented a number of questionable "upgrades" to the game that have driven several high profile eUS citizens to an early retirement. Claire Littleton, the runner up in February's Presidential election was no where to be found after it finally became clear that Mizu would not return. As VP, I took over as acting President for the majority of the month. inci grew from a sixth party to #2. There were some flare ups and reform within the military. There were some flare ups on elections days. It has been a long and strange month, to be sure.

I'm here to tell you that none of this matters much anymore. The past is the past, and the future is approaching us fast, with great fervor. Fate looks upon us near inches away. The problems we now face dwarf the fickle fights we've dwelled on over the last few weeks.

Now is a time for unity.
Now is a time for action.
Now is a time for TOP GUN.

Indonesia has attacked Hawaii. The dawn of a great war is upon us. Some have speculated about what will come next. Some of us are not entirely sure. But hope remains abundant.

I was struck when looking through the media today when I came across an article by a refreshing first time author, Chrissmasseuss. Besides the obvious greatness of the Top Gun references, the article wished our soldiers the best and suggested a theme song for this incoming war.

By Executive Order, "Highway to the Danger Zone" is now the official "battle cry" for this war.

It's time to unite. Americans. inci. Old friends of America. New friends of America. Everyone as one. A great war is about to begin, and if we unite we will stand strong. If we stand strong we will outlast and repel the invasion. And if we can outlast this invasion we can outlast anything.

I have great faith in the fighting spirit of the eAmerican people. I have great hope that others like Chrissmasseuss will step up and boost morale and pitch in whenever and however they can to help with this war. This is a call to arms. We will not stand down. This is only the beginning and in the end we will prevail.
