Get Your Proposals for Charity GOLD In Article Format By December 25

Day 762, 08:05 Published in Greece Canada by Buck Roger

Back in Merry Christmas, eRepublik I announced that I am giving GOLD awards of up to 100 GOLD to worthy charitable causes. I asked for newspaper articles detailing plans written by honorable people who have good, charitable, and nation/alliance-blind causes.

So far I have gotten zero PM's indicating a newspaper article with anybody offering any plan.

I get it. People like to get GOLD, people like the idea of charity even, but nobody wants to put in the work. There's also a strong undercurrent that the only causes to which people want to commit themselves entirely are those which advance their nation's goals. In light of these facts, I will give awards only to those that meet my criteria and have written a newspaper article. I don't care if it's in your newspaper or in somebody else's, but doing that is a basic first step showing good faith, since it's what is asked for.

The following are the criteria:

-- Trans-national and alliance-blind. Convincing evidence of this means operating both in Phoenix and EDEN countries.
-- Does not involve founding or expanding any companies. All goods required purchased off the marketplace.
-- Does involve a substantial amount of human capital--click and type work--done by volunteers.
-- Does show that the proposer has the character of volunteerism himself or herself and can organize what he or she plans.
-- Does explain what the plan is, how it will go forward in the day-to-day, and whom it will involve as recipients of aid (if any) and how they're contacted.

Finally, don't limit yourself to the idea of "helping poor souls in eRepublik"! The kind of charitable work you do can be anything that enhances life for the eRepublik community. One of the coolest things that I want to see one day is an organization of "eOlympics" that incorporate minigame competitions and so on from people around the globe. The major effort in such an organization, as in most charitable works I would support, is human volunteer work... but prize money would just make it more fun! Use your imagination and make it good.

VOTE I look forward to reading your article and, better, funding your cause!
