General Cartman Lee - Hero or Villain?

My Fellow eRepublikans,

I felt the need to write this article to try to make as many people as possible aware of whom I am and that the things my detractors say about me are just downright disingenuous. Many of you know me, and for others who don't, I wanted to make myself known to you. I am a unique person in the eWorld and the real world. I wear my Christian and conservative beliefs on my sleeve, and I am not afraid to stand up for what I believe in, despite the fact that it creates many obstacles and hardships that people who simply do what others expect them to do would not experience. I find it difficult, if not downright impossible, to violate my conscience. In today's world, this is not a trait which is valued by many in a position of power. My recent actions have been because I simply need to focus more on real life, and I want to be less active on eRepublik. I try to look out for everyones well being, and I still get attacked. There seems to be nothing I can do that will not generate propaganda in response.



There are all sorts of lies that are spread about me, and unfortunately many people believe them. There is even a certain person who runs the largest party in the eUSA who I have considered getting a restraining order against, because he has tried to damage my real life career(yes, unlike most people in eRepublik, I am trying to make it in real life politics). There are people who try to look me up and make assumptions about me when they know nothing about me and what they are saying is just a downright lie, or a gross distortion of the truth. The people who dislike me in eRepublik and in real life, despise me because I have the courage to speak up for my convictions, and I refuse to ever back down. The world needs more lions, and less sheep simply being led like a flock off a cliff.



Let me address one of the BIGGEST lies that are told by this individual and those who support him in this country and throughout the eWorld, that of the claim that I am a PTOer and a ONE agent. I was born in this country over three years ago, and I have spent a substantial majority of my time here. Having a different opinion than those who have managed to acquire power does not make someone an "enemy of the state" and believing that ethnic prejudice is wrong does not make someone a "ONE" agent. I, and many of my friends have had to deal with constant domestic PTO terrorism on many occasions. If there was simply a way for the Party President to deny new members, I would've had the largest party years ago. It's not a fair fight when a bunch of butthurt jerks keep bringing up personal issues from years ago and using them as an excuse endlessly.



They will surely mention the old tired argument that I worked with Hungarians in 2010. When people will not leave you alone and will only accept you quitting, what are you supposed to do? I will say that those Hungarians were some of the best people I ever met in this game, and we had a whole lot of fun causing a headache for the eUS elites in the summer of 2010. We even got publicly flogged in Plato's article when they removed our party from the ballot. I still hear about this to this day. What was I supposed to do? At that point their only arguments were that they didn't like me as a person and didn't respect our right to have a party. I did what I had to do. I don't regret it, and I only wish we succeeded. To me it was the equivalent of Allied forces storming the beaches of Normandy to liberate occupied Europe. The point being, I will never back down, I will never quit, and I will never surrender.



All of my friends in this country fight to defend our nation, both on and off the battlefield. I don't care if they are from Vulcan, as long as they benefit our nation. Contrary to popular opinion, I don't hate all Turks, just the ones who follow proven thugs like the current leader of INCI in the USA. The same cannot be said of the elites in power, who seem to hate certain individuals from other countries that the USA is not on the best of terms with. The real traitors in this country are people like Oblige, Artela, Henry "Pfeiffer" Arundel, and others who were part of the effort to give Galicia in a resistance war to our sworn enemy Spain in order to keep me off the Congressional ballot. These people are the enemies of all free Americans and all free people spanning the globe. They even manipulated our military and foreign military units in to saying it was for "strategic" reasons, and not specifying the real reason why.



I will leave it to you to make your determination on me, but I hope you will see that I am sincere and just trying to do what I feel in my heart is right. Like all people, I am not perfect, but I can only try to do better than I have in the past. I just want the people reading this to know who I am, and to know I am a bigger person than those who focus all their energy on trying to destroy everything that I try to do or build. Whether I am a hero or a villain, I will leave that to you to decide. I already know what some of the trolls in the comments section will say, but I am speaking primarily to the reasonable folks around the world reading this.



Change is coming, and I hope you will join me in standing up for it. It's time that we not only as eAmericans, or citizens of the eWorld, or citizens of the planet Earth, but as human beings stand up and say no more of the same problems that people never learn from over thousands of years. It's sad that people have eyes but cannot see, and have ears but cannot hear. It's time to wake up and make a difference. The world has enough hatred and prejudice. We need to start treating each other better. There is a difference between lulz and hate, and sadly the second is far more common in our world today. I encourage you all to adopt a new philosophy.
