Frerk? For Party President of the Unity Party?

Oh yes.

That's right, this month I'm on the ballot for the position of party president of the Unity Party.
We have seen a decline in members and votes in the party, which resulted in poor results in the congressional elections and the first lost presidential election for a while now. There might be lots of possible and plausible explanations for this, but I'm frankly not really interested in explanations. What I am interested in is preventing such failures to happen again.

In my eyes TUP should be a clear and accessible party, everything TUP does should be in the country’s interest.
Recruitment drives and media coverage will not only increase TUP’s activity and experience, it will also create more possible politicians for our nation. They’re always the same people, who will ultimately have a dieing nation and a cool CV.

These new players are the fresh blood with energy, blood which reinforces the government and house of commons. TUP will be most welcoming to any new player who wants to get involved.

I will use the media to encourage a good political debate. I am frankly growing sick of this pointing fingers which only deals damage to our nation. The only real person to blame is Jamesw, not eachother. A good political debate, done either on the forums or in articles should and will result in stronger governments and better legislation.

Which party you’re in should not be a reason to take somebody over a more experienced person. Each party, whether it be TUP, UKRP or even PCP has experienced, skilled or new promising players, and everybody should have a chance, regardless of political alignment.

That said, I will still primarily be focusing on making TUP a bigger party, both in members and MPs, the congress elections in 10 days will be exciting, especially because we’re going to regain our majority.
