eUK Mentorship Programme and player rewards system

Day 5,652, 09:44 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Department for Education

The Mentorship Programme and Player Rewards System intends to be an eUK initiative that aims to help new players understand the game mechanics and guide them through the early stages of the game. Experienced players can volunteer to be mentors and offer their guidance and support to new players, answering any questions they may have and helping them grow their knowledge and skills.

This programme is not only designed to help new players get started in eRepublik but also to keep them engaged and motivated to continue playing. To achieve this, a rewards system has been created for new players, which incentivizes them to reach certain milestones and complete specific tasks. The following is a breakdown of the rewards system for new players:

Milestones

Joining the eUK Mentorship Programme will get you a country currency reward

Reaching level 50 / 75 / 100 / 125 / 150 / 175 / 200 provide country currency rewards

“1st to” Similar Starting Groups: Players are grouped together with their mentor and compete to reach a certain milestone before other groups.

Why Join

As a new player, joining the Mentorship Programme can be a great way to get started in eRepublik. You will have the chance to learn from experienced players, receive guidance and support, and earn rewards for your progress. As a mentor, you can give back to the community and help new players grow their knowledge and skills, and provide opportunities to connect and build relationships with new players.

How to Join

To join the Mentorship Programme, simply reach out to the programme coordinator or mentors in your eRepublik community. Let’s work together to define and improve this programme and make eRepublik an even more engaging and enjoyable game for all players. I should add anyone can be a mentor regardless of level, what you have to offer the community goes beyond level and you never can reach a level where you won't benefit from some mentorship, just level 200 is when I felt rewards should stop.

The Real Spamican Community Reward Framework and/or Government's Community Player Reward Fund (In-development)

I have noted the Real Spamican's have published details of their The Real Spamican Community Reward Framework proposal which seems to be aimed at citizen below level 30 however as you'd expect a proposal full of great thinking.

I do intend to the Mentorship to support players up to level 200 as I was intending on player rentetion to levels that would mark great improvement to the UK across a range of topics and expertise among our citizes so I think between the two player rentention would be greatly enhanced. Lots of support up to level 30 and then continue mentorship and a trickle of rewards up to level 200

This leaves the yet to be developed "Player Reward Fund" which aim is to support community growth by providing reward packages for various activities, such as article writing or community involvement. The specific activities to be rewarded will be determined by the government, with a focus on promoting community spirit and supporting new players. The fund will also consider rewarding players who identify and meet community needs, and those who contribute significantly to community activities.

Congress will provide “green light” to rewards, however the Government will have discretion in determining specific rewards for those nominated.

This scheme is more ad-hoc where other player nominate a player for national recognition so once I work out the details I'm sure all three could nicely work together

I'll spend a bit more time reading though The Real Spamican Community Reward Framework however thought I'd throw Government's humble proposal into the arena for public consultation as to me there doesn't seem to be any conflicting priorties between them.

All thoughts welcomed
