By now, I'm sure you noticed that a hacker has ravaged your virtual world. Surly this is at the top of the list and is being remedied very shortly, but I'd like to help you out. I'm sure you know how to stop a hacker since it doesn't happen very often and the ad module has never been the source of the hacking but let me direct you to a Wikipedia article. If you read this article, with myself saving you the trouble of having to scroll down to read how to help prevent XSS vulnerabilities!

Surly you knew this already since you've stopped him numerous times and he accepted defeat and everything is well. But after reading a certain NCM, doubt began to arise but not against you since maybe ipath is just playing a joke since you know how all those Hungarians like to joke about Ground Zero and stuff.

Of course I could be wrong in thinking it is a XSS type attack but regardless, I feel I need to instruct users on how to defend themselves a bit.

1.) Don't click on any ads

As far as I know, the hack is from the ad module and someone had isolated the attacking source file but due to the eUS Forums going full retard, I cannot view it. That said, avoid ads.

2.) Change your password

While this all depends on how eRep is set up and while the coding is near perfection, changing your password and logging out and then logging in could render the hacker's cookie invalid meaning your free from being accessed. But, that leaves the problem of him getting it again. So, imo, wait until this is over then change your password. Changing your password works until he gets it again. Cheeky bastard.

3.) Install Linux

As you can see from this quote, Linux is an anti-virus software and it's God Tier. Installing Linux voids all viruses, kills all hackers and deports all illegal Canadians. Truly this is the best ed anit-virus program out there and it's free. So go download it to protect your children.
