Danger

USA, 22:00 (Feb26) | Day 828 of the New World

When someone says something is dangerous it automatically invokes caution, danger or dangerous are words internationally known and respected. The words dangerous or danger are all around us, on fire extinguishers, road signs, wet floor signs, even on a cup of hot coffee from mcdonalds. Its a word used with the purpose of preventing accidents, injuries, careless mistakes and consequently pain, frustration, discomfort. Its not a common word like "the" or "it", when you read or hear the words dangerous or danger it should be taken seriously.

With danger being such a widely know word and its use being applied only in times importance it puzzles me why its being ignored by so many and getting attention by so few. If I said "That's dangerous, don't touch that outlet, you will get shocked." would you not be cautious around that particular outlet? Is it not important for you to keep in mind the danger that outlet poses? To most it would, the average sober adult would stay away and even warn others who get too close not to touch the outlet or risk being shocked. Its common sense, not rocket science, just basic common sense.

So why is it that after being warned of an internal threat many among us continue to play around and even pretend to be oblivious to the threat. What am I talking about? A know Phoenix troll who has acquired citizenship, plans to run for president and has managed to gain a small following, among whom are Americans. Zoli is this players name and contrary to his publishing's he is in no way even remotely concerned with Americas well being nor its continuous prosperity. Many have said "Every one knows he is a Phoenix troll, there's no harm in a joke" You might be taking this as a joke but Zoli isn't, he serious intends to run for president and if possible get elected with the purpose of driving America into a ditch and setting the car ablaze.

Let me explain why this is so dangerous, despite hopes for the contrary America is largely a nation of 2 clickers, players who log in once or twice a day for a few minutes, work, train and fight on the days battle. These players due to their lack of activity have no idea who Zoli is and if they do they don't know enough to know he is a Phoenix threat. Come election time unlike active players, 2 clickers vote on which ever ad shows up the most on their screen, they either don't care enough or don't have the time to read up on each candidate. Jewitt vs Woxan is a classic example, active players tended to vote for Woxan but due to a bug affecting Woxans national goals and Jewitts larger ad campaign, 2 clickers voted mainly for Jewitt. Consequently Jewitt won the elections due to heavy support from 2 clickers.

Zoli doesn't need to convince active players he is an american patriot, it would be very hard for him to do so. All he needs is to cause enough hype however humorous it might seem to get his name out their enough to get noticed by the easily fooled, 2 clickers. So when someone says that Zoli having an American citizenship is dangerous and should be paid attention to, don't laugh and joke around, when people try to raise caution to Zolis intent to run for president be wise and avoid leaving stupid comments like "Zoli for prez!" or ''Zoli for POTUS" 2 clickers DON'T know better and WILL vote for whoever they think has a cool ad or a cool avatar. Those who in any way contribute to Zolis apparently humorous presidential bid are doing a tremendous disservice to this country and need to wake up and small the coffee. Its not humorous nor worth anyone's time to even vote for one of Zolis pathetic articles. I urge all Americans to keep this in mind next time they come across a pro Zoli article, 2 clickers are like kids if everyone says sour lemons tastes sweet they will believe so and eat sour lemons.

I hope we start to pay a little more attention to this threat, take it seriously, for I assure you that Zoli is not here to make us laugh.

Quote - The superior man, when resting in safety, does not forget that danger may come. When in a state of security he does not forget the possibility of ruin. When all is orderly, he does not forget that disorder may come. Thus his person is not endangered, and his States and all their clans are preserved.

Editor's Corner - Please Listen, Don't Just Hear Me!
"One of the greatest gifts you can give to anyone is the gift of attention." - Jim Rohn

Did you know that there is quite a difference between listening and hearing?

Hearing is receiving sounds and communication. We hear all the time, but are not always aware of everything we hear because we are not listening. To listen means to hear and pay attention to what you are hearing. If you hear a birdsong when you are out, and then you listen to it focusing on that one sound, it becomes clearer and more distinct, than many of the other sounds that are there.

In relating with other people listening is a skill that needs to be learned. It is not merely hearing them give an account, or relay some information. Listening means to pay thoughtful attention to what a person is saying with the mind intent on understanding the message to be delivered. The art of listening also involves watching the person's body language, maintaining eye contact, asking for clarification when needed and also listening for the unspoken message. If you truly listen, you are able to make a connection with someone without necessarily speaking yourself.

The skill of listening is frequently overlooked, or given a low priority in our communication today. Yet everybody enjoys talking with a good listener!

A major factor to a person having poor listening skills is that they are too self focused. People fail to listen carefully because they are too concerned trying to be interesting themselves, rather than be interested in the person they are talking to. They falsely believe that to be liked and accepted they must demonstrate their intelligence and knowledge with their words or comments. They may cover up their own nervousness and insecurity by constantly talking to fill the air. Talking makes them feel good, and they don't consider the other person, rather just take advantage of having an audience.

Many times people believe if someone is telling them about a challenge that they are having, that it is a cue to jump in and start solving the problem. However, most people wish only to have a sounding board and just to have you listen. To take over disempowers the other person.
