Hi! and Welcome to the First Edition of Communist Dance Party!

I am Bill Galaxia. And I'm guest-editing this rag, standing-in for my real-life pal Phoenix Quinn while he takes a well-deserved break in order to rest up and do a little meditation to remove all traces of hostility and meanness from his grumpy e-being.


PQ after receiving some new Famous Points.


You see, it seems that PQ received a Famous Point after some soul-less, friend-less, humor-less player, who evidently cannot distinguish satire from a bump on a log, reported his last article, for "insults".

So now Poor Ol' PQ is in the dumps and feeling bad that he upset a poor little Servian.

Sigh...

In case you missed it, that article of his had humorously suggested that if e-Servs are so anxious to be integrated into the Southern Way of Life here in the CSA, then perhaps it would make the most sense to simply welcome them as slaves. Evidently a certain reader lacked any appreciation for Swiftian gestures and obviously missed the title of the piece -- "A Modest Proposal" -- which to any person even moderately-educated in English letters pretty much screams, "HEY Doofus -- THIS IS A SATIRE!!!!".


Oh well. As my captain once said to me as we were fleeing from a rapture of Hoorbeasts that was chasing us out of the Orion Arm's Butterfly Cluster -- and all the while torturing us with completely nutty-bonkers broadcasts on all the local sub-space channels: "'Literally' is the only word you aren't supposed to use figuratively."

Yeah. Can you feel me?

Anyway. I thought I'd take this opportunity to share some news and updates and whatnot. And especially to share a little news and info on your favorite eUSA political party: the Socialist Freedom Party.

Some of you newer players and new arrivals to the eCSA may be wondering just what is the Socialist Freedom Party? Well, it's not what you might think. For example, it's not a bunch of doctrinaire, sectarian Leninists playing out a communist fantasy inside a deadly boring browser-based "strategy" game. No siree, Bob.

It is one of the oldest parties in the eCSA. In fact, it's probably the longest-lasting "6th party" that's never yet made it into the Top Five. The SFP has always tried to make a difference, to be a bit different -- not afraid to stand out from the crowd. Whether it was promoting communes and autonomous militias back before that was common-place, or providing a place for Volunteers in its leadership structure, the SFP is like the chihuahua of e-American politics -- it may be small, but it never f**ing shuts up... LOL!

Just kidding of course. The SFP does shut up every once, in a while in order to promote the greater good...

The SFP also has a long history of reaching out to and working together with freedom-minded social-solidarity freaks from many worlds. For example, it recently received the following excellent notice from our friends over at Proletarian Democracy, a party that exists in an entirely other realm:
