Claire Littleton: Cleaning Up the Dirty Jerz one USWP at a Time (Congress Run)

~~Run for New Jersey~~
I, Claire Littleton (Current Senator from Montana, White House Press Secretary and Deputy Speaker of the House), have had a long thought provoking week and have decided this past Monday that I am placing my bid for Congresswoman of New Jersey under the Libertarian Party for the 17th Congressional Term. Why New Jersey and not Montana again, you ask? I will make this article short and to the point:
1) Tiacha ran New Jersey and was a valuable Congresswoman... far more valuable that most gave her credit for. When the USWP decided to end their backing and support of her ,due to their 52 state planned sweep, I was outraged as were most the non-USWP Congress. To let the USWP simply swoop in and take away all that Tiacha did for NJ (Q5 Hospital) and all she does for Congress is unacceptable. I, along with my supporters stated below, will not stand to see the USWP take one of the most populated states in the eUS. I have 100% support from Tiacha and you can read her endorsement at the bottom of this article.
2) Montana will be secure. Tyler Jenkins, United Independence Party, will be my hopeful successor in the great state of Montana. I have had my doubts about leaving Montana behind, but then I was introduced to this bright-eyed, quick and very active citizen. I call on all my supporters, UIP and not, to pull together to vote for Tyler Jenkins to help prevent former USWP Colorado Senator (who quit this current congress and moved to Lithuania), Josh Frost from stealing away Montana in their attempt at a majority Congress. Josh Frost deserted Congress once and there is no saying that he wouldn't do the same again. Montana, I urge you to read this Farewell Letter I published strictly for you. It further explains my intentions and my reasoning for leaving you. I will, with no doubt, miss Montana greatly.
3) I feel I can be more productive as a Congresswoman if I move to New Jersey. With Kyle321n's departure as Speaker of the House, there is going to be a vote for a replacement. With New Jersey already having a Q5 Hospital and a Q5 Defense System, that leaves the Senator of NJ open with some free time on their hands. Hence, I will be accepting a nomination to run as the new Speaker of the House when it is presented. I have under good authority that I will be nominated and I feel that I could help shape Congress into a more successful and transparent branch of government. As current Deputy SoH, I have implemented a new method of collecting Congressional Voting Records to later be published to the nation for them to ensure their Congress(wo)man is working in that state's best interest. If I win SoH, I will be reforming the forums, upon which Congress works everyday, to make it easier to navigate, clearer to understand and overall more effective. I would like to see the 17th Congress undo what the 16th Congress has done and show the nation how a real Congress is supposed to work.
4) Why run under the Libertarian Party? The Libertarian Party is defined as "Center-Right." UIP is defined as "Center." The LIBS and the UIP have several policies in common and we are not very different from each other in most views. I would never switch from UIP to CVP, for instance, that would be purely for the sake of getting more votes and immoral/unethical. I have, however, coordinated with both Party Presidents (HeadmistressTalia of LIBS and Ansen of UIP) and we have all agreed it would be in the overall best interest of Congress and all Parties involved for me to run under the LIBS due to their higher party membership. This is a joint effort between two parties to ensure that Lowell Kennedy does not take New Jersey. Joint Multi-Party Effort is something that Lowell Kennedy and the USWP do not believe in.

I fail to see how the USWP not endorsing Tiacha prevented her from running with a different party's endorsement and winning. The same goes for every other incumbent of any party.

@ligtreb: It was the pure backhandedness of the USWP promising to back her until the very last minute leaving her to scramble. It was very short and very unfair notice in part by the USWP.

You just announced your intention to run in New Jersey today. If you can make a decision on where to run on the final day, Tiacha could have made a decision over the last several days.
@Ligtreb, by last minute I meant during the Congressional application period. Up until then, they were to support Tiacha. I scrambled and worked overtime for the past week to make my run work. If anything, it was just a stab in the back to Tiacha from the USWP and her relationship with them. I am not here to debate Tiacha's actions, but to scold the USWP for their underhandedness as well as their tactics in this Congressional Campaign.

While I understand your issues with Josh Frost and the idea that the USWP will take all 52 states, this is not true. Yes, the USWP does make it hard because they have so many candidates to cross-endorse, but the AAP and USWP in times past have cross-endorsed many times.
@Aren: Key words here are "in times past." That is no longer how the USWP works.

Very disappointing that someone needed to move into NJ to become Congresswoman. NJ already had a tremendously viable candidate and he was overlooked. That person was me.

@Manuel: I moved to New Jersey so we could keep it out of the hands of Lowell and the USWP. I could have stayed in Montana and guarenteed a win there, but I decided to fight the good fight and risk losing.
