As most know presidential elections are coming up. Recently both major candidates are throwing wood in the fire, announcing their respective VPs and spelling out their plans and goals for USA. I like election time because regardless of how much gold you have or if your a politics or military oriented player you have a choice. Elections hands all of us a simple yet hard question, whom should be our next president.
Voting can be done several different ways. The first major way and also most foolish way is to follow the crowd or go with the flow. People who vote this way don't base their vote on their own understanding of each candidate but instead on what the majority of their friends think and do. These kind of voters are also often times easily swayed by simple advertisements and articles. Two clickers are the most prevalent kind of players who go with the flow. Going with the flow is not only foolish but damaging to the overall health of a country.
Another major way of voting is follow the leader. This leader can be anything from a political party and or party president to a commanding officer in say the Army or Marines. They are told to vote for a particular candidate and rather its because of a lack of personal opinion on the election or out of commitment to a party or military branch they basically, follow the leader. Being closely acquainted with a candidate can also be a deciding factor on who you vote for and is another example of following the leader. After all is said and done, nothing and no one should decide on who you vote for. It is a choice you have to wisely and independently make on your own.
The best and most responsible way to vote is to do your homework, read up on each candidates plans and goals. Almost all presidential candidates are older players level 20+ so be sure to do your research, what they have done in the past, what they have accomplished and where they failed. The best way to identify a tree is by its fruits, both Josh Frost and PigInZen have extensive history in eRep, both also have newspapers which is a great way of reaching into the past and reading up on what they have said and written.
Don't make the mistake of focusing only on the presidential candidates, look into each VP pick as well, at the end of the day VPs have far reaching influences on what is decided on the presidential level. Ignore letters, ignore advertisements, focus on facts and you will have no problem making the right choice. It is every Americans duty to vote and vote smart, so come election day be sure to have done your homework on each candidate and your vote will be the right vote.

Editor's Corner - The Cows
Cows are people who have been conditioned their whole life to believe that they must stay within their comfort zone and very rarely, if at all, leave it. When they do, it is only briefly and is usually by force. Cows will watch the world go by, occasionally lifting their heads to look around, but always going back to chewing the grass.
Now some cows think that they are perfectly happy with their lives. Anything outside of their comfort zone is just too hard for them and they make the decision to stay just where they are in life. They feel that they have all that they need and to want any more would be greedy.
Other cows are not at all happy with their situation. They complain and moan to anybody who will listen to them. They blame other people and circumstances for their poor situation and lack of success. Now although these cows are not at all happy with their lives, they do nothing to improve their situation. "It's all too hard" or "it's not the right time", and again, they refuse to move out of their comfort zone to make a difference.
