Join the new world

My fellow CEP Members,
I am now announcing that I will be running for CEP Party President Elections again on June 15th. And yes, this is the third time I am running for this post; I have failed the first two times (against Bruck). It will be an honor for me to succeed to the great Former Prime Minister Bruck.

To start with, let’s talk about myself. Most of you already know who I am, but for those who don’t, here’s a short presentation of myself. I am a very experience eRepublik player, I have been there for almost a year. Since then, I have occupied several government jobs, here are a few of them: 4 time Speaker of Congress, 3 Times Minister of Foreign Affairs, current CSIS Assistant Director, dMoFA, Minister of the Atlantic Alliance, etc… I am very active on forums and IRC. I am on very good terms with what we can call the ‘pillars of our community’ (Bruck, John Wilkmot, Alexander Rearden, and the list goes on….)

Now as for what I plan to achieve if I become CEP Party President.
Firstly, I would like to increase our recruiting campaign. CEP is no longer the biggest party, and the CSD outdistanced us. We will try to recruit as much members as possible, by increasing the advertisements in newspapers, shouts, articles on why to join CEP, videos (QNBC…). I will try to make the CEP the number 1 destination for new citizens. I can’t do it alone, I need your help, I need the help of all the CEP Members.

Secondly, CEP has been encountering for several months the activity problem. Forums are nearly abandoned; our IRC is most of the time empty (no chatters, only idlers). I will try to revive these forums, and make it the place where we all debate on important issues, and vote on it. CEP Members will have a say in some issues, and I will organize forum votes. I won’t choose the CEP Council based on experience only, but on another criteria which is activity. Yes, I will try to make CEP members more involved, more respected, and I need you support, your vote to do that.

Furthermore, the CEP has been recently losing influence. Last month, CEP and CSD had the same share in congress, but now CSD is back dominating us. CEP has successfully led the country for 3 months, but now it is dethroned and the CPP (with CSD and DAL) is in power. I will do my possible to get more seats in congress, by organizing our candidate members, creating voting troops if necessary, etc… We will also try to regain the Presidential Seat, in collaboration with our valued ally the PPC, by getting the support of other parties, organizing a big presidential campaign (presidential debates, interviews, articles…). My primary goal is to make the CEP the eCanadian dominant party again.

Now think, and vote smart. Vote for the future, vote for CEP, vote for Canada, vote Marcchelala!
