My long political experience told me that long presentation are very effective. This is why I will be brief.

CEP Members! Don't you want a change? Bruck has been here for 3 months (if not more). I am in no way against Bruck, he is a great Prime Minister. But, by making Bruck Party President, he will have less time for Presidential matters. I have already said that last month:

"There are a lot of reasons to vote for me instead of Bruck in these elections.

And one of the reasons to vote for me is that Bruck is now Prime Minister, and doesn't have much time to preside the party. The proof is that last term, he named Ralph de Ver party director, and let him manage the party. We want our Prime Minister to fully focus on leading the country. And we don't want a sort of MiA party president, who lets his deputy do everything. If you elect me, I will focus on managing the party, and working for it. And also this way Bruck will have more time for his Presidential Affairs."

And, as I said, why don't you try something new? Democracy implies changing leader from time to time. No change, no Democracy. There is an important saying in my country, written on the door of the Grand Serail (Ministerial Parliament, if you want), which says: "لو دامت لغيرك لما وصلت لك " (If it lasted for the other, it wouldn't have reached you. - Not a very good translation maybe, but I hope you understood what I meant).

I won't detail these, as you all know them by heart. I will of course try to achieve these goals, but I will also focus on improving our relations with the PPC (After all, we both form the Coalition for Change, CfC). The Presidential Candidate will be chosen by both parties, and Party Members will get a chance to vote for which Presidential Candidate they want.

I would like to quote here an Article by Adasko in "The Spiral: (he PP Elections so far: A victory of comfort.) written on the last Party President Elections:

When I saw marcchelala is candidating for President of the CEP, I smiled. He's one of the most active and intelligent eCanadians. Unfortunately, the CEP members apparently did not understand his intensions, which is a big shame. Bruck practically won already, which, unfortunately means, that CEP lost it's chance for a big change. This landslide win is a effect of Bruck's cult of personality, he's been succesfully creating since becoming PM. It's a shame, that nobody understood marcchelala's idea of a strong Party Leader, instead of a invisible Party President, and his Deputy (or should I say acting Party President). Just give me a chance for one month. I repeat, I am not against Bruck, but there always has to be a change.
