Cabinet and Things

Day 680, 14:14 Published in Japan Denmark by Oraizan
This is the breakdown of the Cabinet I hope to establish. If there are any problems as I said, I am glad to work on it with the citizens.

Vice President - Tohru. Tohru is active at times that I am not. She always knows what I am thinking and what I want done. There really is nobody who will know me better with opposing view points that will also be able to assist Japan during my absence.

Vice President - GenoGaron. Chances are there may be times where I am too busy to communicate directly. I am confident in Geno's writing and communication skills, and I would like to see him work with Tohru to communicate efficiently during my absence.

Minister of Foreign Affairs - Mursu. He was one of my favorite Cabinet members with Minamoto, and I think he has done a fine job here. I see no reason to switch the job from him, and I would like to see him continue to shape this section as well as help me establish a little more activity in PEACE.

Secretary of Foreign Affairs - Walorm. He is somebody I trust who has experience with Public Relations. He will be able to assist Mursu and myself very well if needed, no doubt in that.

Advisers
- Anon Bliss, Nolan Pitler, Natsume Takahashi. They will be advising along to their strengths. For example, Nolan will be the adviser to the Army due to the fact that he has great ideas into shaping it better. I am still considering adding a few people to this.

Minister of Defense - Kita_Ikki. He has also done a very good job in his position so far, and I would like to see him finish his work and shape up the JIA some more. To fix the problems I am assigning Adviser Nolan Pitler to assist and keep everything in working order.

Secretary of Defense - Koppanyi Ferenc. I have not had the chance to work with him personally, but I would like to see him assist Kita and I have full trust in his abilities.

Minister of Culture and Events
- Ember is doing a good job on it and I would like to see her continue.

Secretary of Culture and Events - Faeyas, she has been doing events for SOS on the side, and I think her ideas could be useful to help Ember introduce more holidays and fun.

Minister of Internal Affairs - Reiji of course! There is nobody else who knows better what the citizens are thinking and what they want. This position will move to advise me of the public opinion on matters. This way I am always considering the citizens wants and needs. It -may- open up to represent Japan in alliances if needed.

Forum Organizer - Minamoto. I think he has great ideas with the forum and if allowed by Kokawa and accepted by Minamoto I would like to see him continue them to make the forum a better place for us. It would be nice to get some games and guidelines/rules on the forums.

Secretary of Education - Metic. He has done a fine job so far and been active with it. I would like to see him continue it.

Secretary of Immigration - Dokomo. Initially my first term this position was going to go to somebody else, but after seeing Dokomo's hard work I would like to have him continue to shape this section.

Here is one major change: Board of Economics.
There is no way -one person- can fix our economy at this state. I plan to set up an IRC channel just for this group of people so that I have direct access to during any emergencies and a variety of opinions to work with. They will be also able to discuss ideas before proposing them, that way half the job is done and we just need to work out any problems or decide if the proposal is the direction we will go in. It will be a separate forum from cabinet. Hopefully this will speed things up.

I also plan to create a thread on the eJapan National Forum to log any important meetings or conversations between the advisers on this board. I believe it is important to keep records of the decision making.

Economics Chairman: M-Ursu, besides myself. In the past he has taken over and saved the Monetary Market from attacks, even though it was not his duty. I am confident that he will be able to lead this board in my absence and get the job done. Not to mention he will be neutral and I have full confidence he can weigh the positive versus negative and make good decisions to help Japan. Therefore I am making this position and MoFA merge as they require similar strengths and experience.

Economic Board Members: Phelps McManus, smily132, Akki, Crawling Chaos, Goku Jones, Sophia Forrester, Dokomo, Darshu.

I am willing to add people who can prove they have good ideas and Qualify for the board, because of course there are people I don't know in eJapan well. Send me a PM with details if you would like to apply.

Bickering

Basically, it needs to stop. We are fighting way too much, every time I wake up or come home there is bickering in the comments or on the IRC. I think it is common sense by now that fighting with each other gets us no-where.

If elected I will probably start moderating the IRC and Forums more closely (Or should I gain OPs and the president allows me to). We are eJapanese, these outside places from eRepublik are supposed to be fun and easier ways for us to communicate. When this fun started turning sour I can't say, but it is.

There was some bickering in another country between opposing presidents, a country which I am an Ambassador too. One article was specifically slandering their opponent. I must say I was pleased with my comment on the article, but now I'm sad to say that it is happening here.

Somebody took my comment and made an article out of it. I highly suggest you read it. Not because it is my comment, but because it applies to us. I believe some change needs to happen, and it will take all of us to get it there.
