An Interview with Sir Humphrey Appleby

Day 1,096, 06:33 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Sir Mic

Today I interviewed Sir Humphrey Appleby. The commander of the Home Guard and congressman.

Sir Mic Why did you start the Home Guard?

Appleby Members of the Military and myself were appalled at the nature of the removal of Artela from the role of CGS; and were united in opposition to the impositions of the ASB. We were also tired of an inefficient supply system.

Sir Mic What where the aims of the Home Guard?

Appleby To establish a system that is workable; to create a community that is enjoyable, and to operate an establishment for the defence of this country self-sufficiently.

Sir Mic What do you think of the merge back into the Army?

Appleby I thought the agreed upon system recognised the fact that we were serious in our views; but that both entities should work together for the defence of this country. Up until now, the deal was going quite well and both parties remained committed to it.

Sir Mic What plans do you have for the future in General?

Appleby I continue supplying members of the Home Guard with our produce, help them incorporate themselves back into the army and successfully defend the country. I am currently discussing alternative supply methods with the rest of command to help improve the rest of the army’s levels and efficiencies of supply.

Sir Mic Do you plan to run for CP in the near future?
Appleby No. I don’t have the time; nor the strength.
