I'm glad I held off on writing this article until now, because of the events last night. I don't think anyone predicted that we would make such a brave move to defend our allies in Croatia. When it comes to the war with Russia, I do feel like that is something that was thrust upon the upcoming government, and is something that my administration will have to fight. In my opinion there is no other alternative, because we have now opened MPPs against ourselves that are very powerful. Whether fighting means constantly defending Alaska or trying to move through Russia in an all out offensive, I'm not sure. That really depends on what our allies are willing to do.

Trial By Fire

In my last article I suggested that the eUSA would be best served by testing the new modules and attempting to figure out what the best techniques are. Now it looks like we'll be learning on the fly, because after the first week of V2 (we can't fight during the first week because war will be disabled) we'll be waist deep in a war with Russia. That probably means having battles each day, most likely to defend Alaska. On the bright side this means we'll start off in home territory, and will learn the techniques on what should become a rather familiar battle ground.

So what else?

Foreign Affairs is not only fighting wars and yelling provocative at our enemies. It's also about talking with our allies, and making sure that we've done everything we possibly can to make both them and us safer. That's a two way street, it means reaching out to countries like India, China, Japan, and the rest of our bros, but also not accepting terms from other less amicable allies that puts our country in danger. If that sounds cryptic, it probably is. Sorry. It's very tough to predict what the foreign affairs will look like, especially after V2, and so I'm making a blanket statement rather than trying to go point by point. The eUSA will do everything in it's power to make itself and it's allies safer from enemy attack.

We'll get through this, and remember, The Enemy's Gate is Down
