Last week of my term

Well, what to say; I havn’t been a good CP in the information-department towards our common man lately...
The days are filled with trying to relay together congress and government, and at the same time acting as MoImmigration as I’ve been too lazy to find one after getting elected into office.
Only one week left till someone else will fill these shoes, and I hope that I havn’t screwed up too much up till now...





Congress of February

The election on January 25th, gave us the following congress (after some slight ATO-work);

The war with the UK

The war is over and we lost, but yet we won!
Even though this was with tremendous help from Asgard, then we have actually occupied british soil, a thing that have made me very proud of you all and your efforts!

After we were wiped the first time, and started RW’ing Sor- and Vestlandet back up again, then UK CP BigAnt's ego goes ballistic and says; “Hey, lets rob them of congress for trying to resist!”.
Another NE soon follows with the subseqent wipe; but before that happens, then we managed to RW up Svalbard and actually hold a two region congress-election, like usual...

Also, some personal funds used in the war-effort have been reimbursed to their respectful citizens, after a discussion and voteover in congress.
Total sum reimbursed is approximatly 57.000 CCY.





Landlease with Russia

Our landlease with Russia was re-negotiated last week, just in time for the congress-election.
And with very good help from our solid leaser, then we managed to swipe a congress this month too, dispite the overwhelming odds.

I would like to thank the russian goverment, represented by CP Antropophag, MoFA chugaystyr and vMoFA Hryushkin Aleksandr; for the fair negotiations under a tight schedule and for their aid in securing congress!

As a note, it should be mentioned that due to the quick response of Russia, then it’s agreed upon that they will only pay 80Gold in February instead of the usual which is 90Gold.





Current status and the way forward

Well, things are slowly getting back to normal in our little nation...
We will have to RW back Sor- and Vestlandet, starting with Vestlandet as soon as possible, support a RW there if you can!

On another note, then we’re again closing in on a new CP-election, and for now three candidates have decided to run for presidency.

Atleast two of these three should be familiar names to you, and I’m sure that they will come with more information to us about their candidacies, goals and cabinets in due time before the election it self.
