What I did in the last 9 months?

I usually don't write this type of articles but from time to time I am proud of my achievements.  


Friends

Mohsenam made a very valid remark bellow so I would like to add a very important chapter to this article. During last 1 year and a half I made a lot of new friends here that continuously sent me messages and supported me. And as I answered his comment this will not shut down.
Also they way I was able to obtain certain achievements assures me that I've manage to gain trust and respect.



Aircraft rank

My last article was written 9 months ago. At that time I was just getting the Chief Master Sergeant aircraft rank but being proud to be the first one in Switzerland. After almost three months I've got the blue decoration for Wing Commander in Belgium. Now, thanks to I-G-D, I was able to be the first one to get the Group Captain rank in Saudi Arabia.



Globe Trotter

As I wrote in that article my biggest achievement was the Globe Trotter project. I started it in February 11th last year and since then I was able to travel in almost all countries of eRepublik. During this project I had constant supporters and people that actively helped me to get citizenship in several countries. But that would be told in a different article.

I still have 2 countries to go. 
In Paraguay I got the promise to obtain the citizenship but the country is under occupation and is without congress since 2 or 3 months ago. Thus I am just praying that the countries that are keeping Paraguay under occupation may allow them to get a congress this month. It worked in Bolivia last month.
In North Korea I've tried to get the citizenship last determination reset war but I failed gracefully. Maybe next time I will be more lucky.




Medals

I do not have a list of medals I had 9 months ago so I cannot make full comparison. But what I know for sure is that I was fighting mostly in air battles until I've got the Group Captain rank so I was able to gather 306 sky medals. During that period, from time to time, I was also able to get some Resistance Hero and Battle Hero ones. Since getting the rank I switched back to Tank fights (you will see bellow why) and I managed to get 12 Campaign Hero and more than 50 Battle Hero medals. From time to time I kept fighting in air battles so I've collected 3 more Sky Hero medals. 

But one of the most important medal was the Liberator medal I obtained in Columbia. I would like to personal thank jjperdido and CardinaI for the big support in achieving this.



As I would like to know in the future what was my number of medals, I made a screenshot of them. You may notice the medal I am the least proud - Prestige Hunter - for which I spent more then 500 energy bars.



Decorations

During my Globe Trotter project I was traveling to several countries. As I was pushing hard to achieve the ultimate aircraft rank I got a very interesting side effect: get decorations in the weekly leader-boards. From certain moment I was starting to pay attention and move to a new country weekly. The result is a list of air and tank decorations for 22 countries. Together with older ones got in different eRep events, I manage to have in this moment 135 decoration. 
I would like to underline the last two ones: 10 decorations each for damage and kills in my military unit. I take advantage now to thank again Mobile Infantry of Thailand for hosting me almost a year during my Globe Trotter journey.



What's next?
The main target in this moment is to finalize the Globe Trotter project. As I mentioned before I need two more countries but it may take more than a month or two to do it.

Next to that you probably guessed that by switching back to tank fight I am chasing the Legend rank. But that will be a long run.
In order to obtain the Group Captain rank I made an effort for several months and I bought Power, Blitz and Maverick packs. That helped me to get a good energy recovery pace every week to deal as much damage as possible. But it was also a stressful period as I needed to chase air battles every day. And that was to be able get as many Sky Hero medals with which I could finance my packs payed in CC. 
With Battle Hero medals I will not be able to recover as many gold as with Sky ones so I said good bye to Maverick. I was able to get the Blitz this month this way and I hope I can keep the pace for it every month. 

As I started to gather air decorations I was thinking that I can keep doing that until I finish my previous two targets. Thus I am looking to move weekly to countries that do not have a lot of air active players. I already moved to the first one: Moldova, thanks to the help of one of my Globe Trotter supporters: Mentalist de Bucovina. You may want to keep an eye of him (sic!).
