This week at the Department of Education ; we will be answering several (hundred, hopefully) questions about the game! The only thing that needs to be done is for you to ask them!

In essence, you asking questions will lead the Department of Education in bettering our education experience. So, it is your duty as an American citizen to make America better ; and by aiding us - you aid yourself, and the generations of new players that come after you!

So, let's get this party started! Just ask questions in the comment bar ; and you'll get 200w. Make sure they are reasonable and appropriate however!

Did you mean "Changing Your Location"? Of course you did. To change your location go to your profile page (This can be found on the sidebar ; look for your name and click it). Look for the text that says "Change Location". Click on it, and pick the country you wish to live in ; and then the territory you wish to live in!

You obviously meant this in the most philosophical meaning! There are several paths which a player can take in eRepublik. You can become a politician, a soldier, a media mogul, or an economic mastermind. An easy way to become any of these is to read "The Information Web", which is located at the bottom of the article!

That's pretty easy, join a military unit. They usually give out food and supplies for working in a commune! Of course, you'll only earn 1$ ; but the food and supplies you receive will be worth more! A good list of military units can be found at The Path of War.

Should I buy gold?

That's more of a personal choice ; if you have money and you think the game is fun ; go for it. I am not your accountant ; if you want to spend real life money on this game - go for it. Just remember ; it's just a game.

Is it worth upgrading food factories or is it better to have more lower quality factories?

This is a great question. It depends on how you look at it.
Let's say we go to base production (100😵

Q1 = 200w
Q2 = 400w
Q3 = 600w
Q4 = 800w
Q5 = 1000w

Q1 = 10g
Q2 = 30g
Q3 = 80g
Q4 = 180g
Q5 = 380g

If we look at this table, for the price of a Q2 Food Company, I can have three Q1s, for what it costs to make a Q2 company. 3 Q1 = 600w , 1 Q2 = 400w. However, the more companies you have, the less you will get to fight. It takes 10w to work at each company, so, your net gain in wellness from the 3 Q1's is 570w ; the net gain in wellness from a Q2 is 390w.

What happens in a wipe of a nation?

When a nation is wiped, all of it's citizens will retain their citizenship. You will still be able to sell on your countries market, and you will produce lower amounts of food, etc.

In relations to government, The government will still collect VAT Income, however, it will lose it's Income Tax Revenues.

Is it pointless to buy Q1 - Q4 food and why?

That depends. You have to calculate the cost per wellness.

For example, remember that:
Q1 = 2w
Q2 = 4w
Q3 = 6w
Q4 = 8w
Q5 = 10w

Price/Wellness = Cost Per Wellness.

In example, Q1 Food @ 60 cents and Q2 Food @ 1.05

.60/2 = .30 per wellness.
1.05/4 = .26 per wellness.

Always buy the food that costs the least per wellness. In this example, it would be the Q2 Food. Just pull out your calculator, and see which one is the cheapest!
