Ma egy éve regisztráltam erepre.

Úgy döntöttem, hogy nem a szokott, novellás stílusomban írok, hanem a számokat hívom segítségül az emlékekhez... lássuk hát, miből is áll egy év erepen.

It is exactly one year ago that I registered here.

I've decided not to write about it in my usual style, but let the numbers give me a help in remembering... let's see what is one year enough on eRepublik.

11 Hardworker Medals

Ez 330 napot jelentene, de nem emlékszem, hogy bármikor is kihagytam volna a kétkattolást, amióta regisztráltam. Egyszer-kétszer tutira bugok törték meg a sorozatot, és nem reklamáltam miattuk; de a skillekből visszaszámolva megvannak a napok, valóban nem mulasztottam el egyet sem. 🙂

Well, that means 330 days, but in fact I don't remember having missed even one day from the two-clicking - once or twice it was broken by bugs that I did not complain about. As I counted it back from my manu and land skills, it indeed proves that I did not miss a day. 🙂


5 Congress Medals

Az elsőt még 2008 decemberében szereztem, Norvégiában; elég sokan melóztunk ott, hogy a magyar gazdaságot ellássuk nyersanyagokkal, és mivel rengeteg üres régiójuk volt, és kevés aktív emberük, így páran elindultunk a kongresszusi helyekért, és emlékezetem szerint 5-en be is jutottunk. Kihangsúlyoznám, hogy ez nem TO volt, mint kongresszusi tagok komolyan vettük a dolgot, nem is volt semmiféle pénzkiutalás vagy ilyesmi.
A többit már Mo-n értem el, januárban magasan a legtöbb szavazatot szerezve, február az elnökség miatt kimardt, majd áprilistól júniusig szereztem meg a többit.

The first one I got in 2008 december, in Norway - I, as a number of others were working ther, to provide Hungary with the much-needed resources; Norway had a lot of empty regions and quite a few people in them - so a few of us decided to run for congress, and if I remember well, 5 of us got in. I want to stress that it was not a TO, as congressmember, I took the job seriously, nobody donated mney out of the treasury and so on.
the rest were all in Hungary, starting in January, when I won the election with almost as many votes as the rest of the candidates together. Then in February I was president, so no Congress then; and the rest is from April to June, when I last went for it.

1 President Medal

Mindössze 3 hónaposan, kéthetes külügyminiszteri tapasztalattal azt lehetne gondolni, hogy eléggé merészség az elnökségért indulni. Azonban ez mind nem mutatja azt, hogy ekkorra a Legendárium már a nr.2. újság eMo-n, mindenki ismert és elismert itthon és külföldön is, és ahogy a januári congress-választás is mutatja, népszerű is voltam - így hát érthető talán, hogy miért volt természetes elindulnom. Amikor a választási kampány elindult, az index-boom még csak egy halovány lehetőség volt, így nem az nyerte meg a választást. Visszatekintve ez, az index-boom határozta meg az elnökségemet, ami mindössze 4 nappal a megválasztásom után jött... és ami kevés híján rombadöntötte a gazdaságot.

Mert képzeljük el, hogy egy cca. 1500 fős országba hirtelen beözönlik majd 5000 ember; felvásárolja a piacon az összes kaját, kicsi híján éhínséget előidézve, mielőtt le tudták volna gyártani a magukét. Aztán szorított a kényszerűség, hogy csatákat adjunk nekik, hogy fejlődhessenek, egy olyan időszakban, amikor Mo-nak nem voltak közvetlen csatái, csak néha egy blokk, ami a visszavonulás miatt hamar véget ért. Így hát csatákat vadásztunk Európaszerte; előbb MPP-n keresztül Portugália mellett ütöttek az indexesek, utána jött a svájci tréning-war (a svájci teokrata állam megalakulása), utána jött a híres román tréning-csata, amiért valóban egyhetes tűzszünetet adtunk, mivel Indo, Irán és Pakisztán ekkor intézték a régió-swapokat, így mi tudtuk, hogy nem kell blokk, a románok meg azt hitték, milyen ügyesen kiharcolták a tűzszünetet... és közben mi meg megcsinálhattuk a német-osztrák egyesülésen belül a mi kis burgenlandi gyakorlóterepünket. Nem is adtuk vissza sokáig, mert a németek siettették az egyesülést, nem adtak elég időt tréningre, mivel ekkor már az Atlantisz felé igyekeztek. Még emlékszem ebből az időből arra, hogy mindig külön csatautasításokat kellett kiadni, hogy a Romániában maradtak ne ellenünk üssenek. 🙂

Aztán ahogy az index-bébik felnőttek, és elhagyták a tréningcégeket, hirtelen száznyi új, piaci céget kellett valahonnan elővarázsolni, hogy tudjanak végre rendesen dolgozni. Sokakat vittünk, küldtünk ki Indóba, hogy legyen elég nyersanyagunk, de még így is itthon nem volt egyszerűen elég pénz ennyi új cégre... akkoriban nem aranyak százairól vitatkoztunk, hogy mire költsük, hanem 1-2 tucatról max...

Ami a külpolitikát illeti, szintén sokan hozzák fel ellenem, hogy túl engedékeny voltam, sőt még árulással is megvádoltak páran. Ami azt illeti, az én véleményem az, hogy nagyjából én voltam az utolsó olyan magyar elnök, aki valóban folytatott diplomáciai tárgyalásokat is, és nem csak katonailag akart megoldani mindent. Ez nyilván részben kényszerűség is volt, hiszen akkoriban Mo. katonai ereje igencsak csekély volt, messze nem elég, hogy egymagunk akárcsak csatát nyerjünk Románia ellen (ezt szépen megmutatta a tréning, aminek ez az egyik célja is volt - lehűteni a forrófejűeket, akik szerint 5000 bébi megeszi reggelire a román tankhadsereget... (jut eszembe a 400 goldos béketerv Hekkat idejében volt, nekem dsalageanu már ingyen adta volna a régiókat, csak hagyjuk békén Indo ellen menni - amit én nem fogadtam el). Ami a nyugatra menést illeti, igen, én hosszútávú tervnek ezt képzeltem el, több verzióban; de végcélként, vágyálomként a spanyol vasat szemelve ki. Tekintve Helókitty-t, azt hiszem, Asturias nem is volt olyan bolond ötlet. 🙂

After being only 3 month old, being a minister (MoFa) for two weeks, some might think that it was quite presumptuous from me to run for presidency. In fact, by that time my Legendarium was the Nr.2 paper in Hungary, I was well-known at home and abroad too, and as the congress election result showed, quite popular as well. So, it was an obvious decision to do it. When I started the campaig, the index-boom was not yet a sure thing, just a faint promise - so it was not that that won me the seat. In retrospect, my presidency was all about the boom, which came only 4 days after the election... and which almost destroyed our economy.

Imagine that into a 1500 strong country, suddenly 5000 people pours in, first buying all the bread on the market, very nearly causing a famine until they produced enough; then give them battles in which they can develop, in an era, when eHungary did not have battles, aside from an occassional blocking that took 5 minutes before they retreated. We were pressed hard to find training battles, and at first through MPP-s, then in the Swiss training-war (the birth of the theocratic Switzerland), then the famous Romanian training, for which we did indeed gave them a cease-fire - because we knew that we can, as Iran, Indo and Pakistan did the region-swaps then; then the Austrian-German unification from which we got Burgenland for a training-ground - we did have a contract to give it back, but as Germans hurried their operation, so as to annoy us (they were by that time heading to Atlantis), and the Romanian front opened up too, it stayed with us for a long while. We also had to issue separate battle orders for those, staying in Romania, so they would not hit against us...

Then, as the index-babies grew, and left the training companies, we had to suddenly make hundreds of real companies, so they can work... many we took to mainly Indonesia, to provide the necessary resources, but still, at home, we simply did not have the funds for making so many real companies... at the time we did not argue where to spend hundreds of golds, but 1 or 2 dozen at most.

In foreign relations, many people now accuse me of being too accomodating, and such things, I even heard accusations of treachery. Well, in my opinion, I was the last president of Hungary, who really cared about diplomacy, and not only used a military solution. It was so partly because I had by this time plenty of international connections, and a natural inclination for diplomacy; whereas eHungary's military power was even at the end of my term something that would not have been enough to win a real battle. The training battle with Romania clearly showed it - it was our intention too, to display real proportions and calm some hotheads at home who thought that 5000 babies will eat the Romanian tank-armada for breakfast... (btw, the 400 gold treaty-proposal was in Hekkat's time). I freely say that I did imagine eHungary's future in the west - my dream was to get the spanish iron somehow - in the light of Helokitty, Asturias was not such a stupid dream. 🙂

4 Media Mogul Medals

Amikor elkezdtem az újságot, még iszonyúan izgultam, hogy lesz-e egyáltalán igény erre a stílusra... de az első visszajelzések felbátorítottak, és így nem adtam fel. Az index-boom előtt már 500 körüli előfizetőm volt, amivel 2. voltam a magyar újságok között. A nemzetközi első helyet valamikor februárban értem el, a 4., eddig utolsó Media Mogult júniusban. A mai napig büszke és boldog vagyok, hogy ennyi embert érdekel az újságom, mivel soha sem kértem, hogy fizessenek elő rá (egyszer tán, újoncozáskor). Büszke vagyok rá, mert a mai napig az erepen a legnagyobb eredményemnek az újságomat tartom.

When I started my paper, I was almost afraid, if there was a space in the Hungarian media, for a paper like mine... but the first feedbacks told me that there was, and so I continued. Before the index-boom, my paper was something like 2nd in Hungary, with around 500 subs (compare: I won the presidency with 147 votes). I reached the international Nr.1. status in February, and the last, the 4th Media Mogul sometime in June. I am still glad and proud that so many people choose to subscribe to my paper - I never asked for it, so it is true result. I am proud of it, because my paper is and will always be my greatest achievement in eRepublik.

7 Battle Hero Medals

Nagyon jól emlékszem az elsőre... egy vesztes csata volt Northern Great Plain-ben, azaz Debrecenben, ... az a 4181 sebzés akkoriban valószínűleg a teljes kétnapi sebzésem lehetett. 🙂

Emlékszem még egy mulatságos esetre is - Oroszokhoz mentünk többen segíteni románok ellen, és az egyik csatában ütöttem - majd ők hirtelen visszavonultak. Ez a blokkok és visszavonulások időszaka volt, nem lehetett előre tudni, melyik csata hogy fog zárulni. Így nyertem egy teljesen váratlan medált - a mulatságos az volt benne, hogy a csata minden résztvevője kapott medált és goldot egy bug miatt - aztán az adminok elvették a medált mindenkitől, így tőlem is, és csak hosszas viták után kaptam visza.

A legfurcsább az volt, amit megvettem, a németek elfoglalása idején, amikor a lengyelek pénznyomtatási terveit meghiúsítandó. Furcsa érzés volt nagyon, nem is akarnám megismételni.

I do remember the first... in Northern Great Plain, in a battle that we lost ... that 4181 damage was probably my full 2-days damage back then 😛

I do remember a funny one, too - We went to Russia, to help them against Romania, and in one of the battles, I fought - then suddenly they retreated. It was the times of many blocks and retreats, and this one happened to be one, so I won an unexpected battle Hero; but the funny thing is, that in that battle, every single fighter got one medal thanks to a bug - then admins took away all medals, including mine, and I only got it back after many arguments. 🙂

I remember another one that I bought, during the German battles, when we conquered them to foil the Poles plans of printing inordinate ammount of DEM. It was a strange experience, and I never wanted to repeat it again.

1 Resistance Hero medal

Hát, ez rövid történet; az ukrán régiók felszabadítása idején megvettem Volhynia RW-jének az indítási jogát, mivel csak ez az egy medál hiányzott akkor - és a 'vad' RW-k sikerességének az aránya sosem volt túl nagy.

Well, it is a short story: I bought this medal, or rather the right to start an RW in Volhynia, when we liberated the Ukrainian regions - as it was the last medal missing, and successful free RW-s are hard to come by.

3 Super Soldier Medals

Ez csak mindennapi klikkelést igényel, nem nagy sztori. Jut eszembe, elértem a 18-at minap, alig két hónap, és meglesz a 4. ilyen medál. 🙂

well, these only require clicking every day. I just reached strength 18, so it is about 2 months to get another.

26 Society Builder Medals

Na, ezt sokan kérdezték már, sőt még multizással is vádoltak páran miatta. Már az index-boom előtt volt (ha jól emlékszem) 3 SB-m, mivel rengeteg embert hívtam meg a játékba, ismerősök, barátok, rokonok közül. Mindkét index-boom alkalmával sikerült néhány meghívót nekem is kiküldeni; nem sokat, de talán 1-2 SB-nyit. Ezután is folyamatosan hívtam meg embereket, de a legtöbb medál az akkor jött, amikor Garmacor elérte, hogy az FS! blogon megjelenjen az egyik cikkem, kettőnk ref-linkjével. Rengetegen regisztráltak akkor rögtön, és még jópár embernek küldtem kaját is, amíg ez legális volt - ezekből a goldot az eMNB kapta, nekem az SB-medálok aranya jutott.

A lot of people asked how I managed to do it, and some even accused me with multies. Even before the index-boom, I had 3 SB-s, as I always invited a lot of people from friends and relatives. I did send some invitations during both index-booms; not many, but another 1-2 SB-s worth. Then I invited again people from friends, blogs, wherever. The most SB-s though came, when Garmacor managed that article of mine on the FS! blog with both our ref-links in it - and at first several dozens registered straight away, and then, I did send food for some more, as I learned that it was legal - the gold from these went to the eMNB, only he medal-golds remained with me.

1 Ambassador Medal

Ezt úgy lehet szerezni, ha sok embert meghívsz, eléred, hogy az IRL média írjon erepről, talikat szervezel és veszel részt rajtuk, a játékot segítő legális programokat alkotsz, segítesz az erep lefordításában - röviden azt teszed meg ingyen, ami a fizetett alkalmazottak feladata lenne. Adminok ezt annó egy különleges és ritka medálnak tervezték, de a bemutatása (illetve inkább annak a hiánya), valamint némely választásuk a medál megkapására alaposan leértékelték ezt. Manapság a legtöbb embernek fogalma sincs, mi az a kék izé némelyek neve mellett.

You get it by inviting people, obtaining media-coverage for erep, organizing and attending meetings, making additional programs, that help the players, translating erep - in short doing for free what paid employers should do for their pay. Admins intended this as a precious medal, but their introduction of it (or rather the lack of it), and some of their choices devalued this medal quite a bit. Nowadays not many people even now what that little blue thing on some profiles.

22. szint, 5536/7000 tapasztalati pont - amennyit eMagyarországon harcolni lehetett, nem csoda, hogy ennyi van.

Level 22, 5536/7000 xp points; as much as Hungary fought all in its history, it is not surprising to have this many XP-s.

2031 harc, az összes sebzés 300111 / 500000
Nemrég értem el mindkét kerek számot; de igazából amióta FM lettem, a teljes sebzés eléggé nem érdekel.

It was not long ago that I reached both these numbers; in fact since I am a Field Marshall, I did not really cared about the damage overall.

1 párt, a KARD amit sanya18-al és Fehérlóval csináltunk; a párt elnöke az sosem voltam 🙂

1200 körüli barát, akiket az adminok kegyetlen módon mind kitöröltek amikor bannoltak... sajnálom őket, hiszen aki már halott, bannolt vagy elhagyta a játékot, az ezen a listán már sosem lehet rajta...

1200 friends that admins were cruel enough to delete when they banned me, and I feel sorry for those, who died, were banned or left the game, and can never again be on this list...

2 végleges ban, az 5 feketepont elérése miatt, mindkettő egy nap után feloldva; 4,5 FP, amit azért kaptam, mert kritizálni mertem őket, és ráadásul igazam is volt.

2 permanent bans, for reaching 5 FP-s, both repealed after a day or so; 4,5 Forfeit Points, that admins gave me as punishment for criticizing them - and being right too.

Hát, ennyi egy e-élet e-éve számokban...

So, this is an e-year of an e-life along with the numbers...
