[WHPR] Day 4749: Tides of Economy and War

Day 4,749, 21:16 Published in USA USA by James S. Brady Press Room

Hello America and happy erep XIII birthday, let's update on what's going on in the eUSA

News From the Front

In France

US forces have been fighting bravely against overwhelming odds these past few days. A few days ago, USA airstriked Lorraine and took it from Slovenia. This was done to support an Asteran operation against CODE presence in the region. The initial invasion went well as American forces landed safely in the theatre. A few hours later French resistance attacked the landing zone and after brave defensive efforts US forces retreated.

In Asia Minor

Heavy fighting is taking place as CODE backed Turkish rebels are determined to push US forces out. Battle isn't over yet, Asteria's posture in the region is still strong and US is also maintaining a secondary base in the Caucasus.

Companies Relocation Program

In previous WHPR editions we covered the changes to USA's safe regions map and resource distribution. Congress has recently authorized a program to subsidize the costs needed to relocate companies according to the new national policy.

Read about the program here.

Unsafe regions will be allotted for training wars, so WAMing companies will be impossible, Make the sound economic decision and move.

Future of US Foreign Policy

As the Non Aggression Pact signed by the Bubblar administration with Asteria is set to expire in just a few days, Government has been vigorously discussing with Congress how is best to proceed, with options ranging from maintaining the status quo by extending the NAP, to trying strengthening the relationship with Asteria through a new framework. Government will update as this story unfolds
