[TUP] Who are we supporting for President this month?
Stevearino
We're rapidly approaching that time of the month where the question is being or should have already been asked - who is running for CP this month?
Before anyone gets ahead of themselves - no I'm not running.
What can often happen near the end of a month and I've seen it across all parties over the years is a conversation that goes something like this:-
So who's running for CP this month?
Oh, I don't know
I will run if no one else is
X is running from party A apparently, we could back them?
Oh they've changed their mind
Y is running from party B
Too late the deadline's passed
Give everyone a free vote
So this month I wanted to try a different approach for TUP and see what happens. I've set out below the method we aim to follow - it will either be a success worth repeating or it becomes apparent it is of no benefit and gets dropped for next month.
Anyone wishing to stand for election as Country President and seeks support from TUP must state their intention to stand in this article. Whether you're from TUP or just looking to get support from our party as well as or instead of from your own, if you want our support you need to make yourself known here.
Everyone is then free to partake in public discussions as to the merits of the candidates, such as manifestos, relative experience etc.
The Party leadership (TUP Council) can then review the candidates, the discussions that have taken place and the contributions made. We can then decide who we wish to support. The final decision will remain with the TUP Council and ultimately with Madelina who is Party President this month.
By doing this it is hoped to open the discussions up to the wider community and set a clear process for picking candidates. We will then be able to advise publicly who we are supporting and why prior to the deadline for candidates to be locking in at the end of the second day of the month.
As I've already made clear this is a trial for this month only at present, so if you're running for CP and want our support - get your name down in the comments below!

This is an excellent initiative! Well done for this.
I'd personally vote for Wayne myself.... 😃
A good approach
WayneKerr is the obvious choice outside of Horice.
Sign me up paul.
Unless someone better is running
like me...
People can't be serious about putting Wayne for president.
I was one of the best CP's eUK has ever had...
Give us back the money you stole, you rotter. Preferably to me. I'll check it's all accounted for first.
In order for something to be stolen, ownership must be claimed. eUK's ownership of funds ceased somewhere in mid-eCanada. Even before then, it was largely money falsely injected into economy in order to give a certain impression.
From that point on, 'eUK's cash' was comprised of private donations and loans (most of which were paid back via real life money). What was left after CO's against MEK, were as far as I know handed back to the CP. I believe it was Fata? who received a 400k donation from a certain individual connected with my dictatorship. Which is around the mark that was left.
If it was a robbery, it was a rubbish robbery...
Wayne as CP = Victory.
He saw off a 6 nation gangbang on the UK and wiped 3 of them.
He's the reason we currently are back on the map.
ofc being wiped and divided betwixt the Yanks, Finns and plastic paddies is good too.
chaz is the reason we are back on the map
Let's test your theory and see if he can keep us there then.
Technically, it was Alfa that got us back on the map, AMD. He opened the RW, spunked loads of cash at the RW and spent the entire day giving updates and commentary. But I'm willing to take the credit for it...

Oh yes. https://www.erepublik.com/en/article/-amd-new-year-new-cp-2625996/1/20
Chaz has thrown in his hat, but not communicated with TUP. There are a couple "who the heck is HE" candidates.... and AMD. I think it's a simple choice - AMD for CP.
Congratulations on this initiative, Tyndale, I'm so grateful for open this spaces for everyone.
I like so much AMD's explanation.
A decent initiative and a serious manifesto. Nice work.
