[AMD] New Year, New CP

That's right, I'm running for a fourth term of elected office. And my first in which hopefully I will actually see what the buttons look like.
First of all, Who am I?
For all those new and younger players, and those who wish to repress all memory of me, let me give you a quick review.
I am Aaron Mark Daniels, self proclaimed socialist, owner of the longest erep article signature award. I have been the President of the Workers' Rights Party since April 2015, approaching my third year at the helm next April, (hopefully).
I have been elected the country president of the United Kingdom three times previously, and I have served as the Minister of Foreign Affairs for the United Kingdom, according to my wiki pagesince October 2015. I guess if you do a job well you get stuck with it!
Because of this, most of the undertakings of the UK in recent times I know all about. I am familiar with both domestic and international politics and affairs of the United Kingdom and I think this makes me a strong candidate to lead our country into the New Year!
What I would do?
1. I plan to hold a public discussion on something offered to us, unless it happens before the start of the term,and that is the United Kingdom's membership to Orion. A discussion/referendum type thing will be held by me as I believe such an important decision needs input from all of the UK rather than just those who make themselves active in congress. We have been invited by the Sec Gen and pending approval (which is pretty certain at this point) they are just awaiting our decision. This would begin immediately.
And of course, would be done, but I want to assure all our allies that us joining Orion would not change the way we feel about them. Being MoFA for so long has made me appreciate our friendships, especially with our war with Argentina this month.
Our friends who aren't part of Orion, you will still be our friends and you can always look upon us in our time of need.
2. Prince Rezo of Spain has an incredible plan for liberation and our war effort. I will be working closely with him to develop this plan and work in conjunction with our allies to free the UK and perhaps go on the offensive...
Working with Spain, Bulgaria, Macedonia, France, Cuba etc (Sorry If I don't mention one, I am rushed for time but our allies know who they are. I am also not 100% certain which nationalities are represented in our telegram group, there are 30+ people!!!) closely we will come out on the other side unscathed!
3. The important thing to note about my government and administration is that it will not be a presidential almost "Dictatorial" style government with all the decisions centralised at me. It will be more of a committee government with myself having the final say or confirmation. I want to lead as part of a cabinet government, being open and accepting as well as inclusive. The public will know whats going on, parliament will know whats going on. Barring sensitive information of course. Which is why we will appoint a congress and public liaison officer who's job it will be to make these things known. Applications for this position will be taken
The nature of such also means applications are taken for all roles. I plan to have the main cabinet positions and others involved in government to act as advisors. Anyone wishing to help out in a specific department (Defence for example needs people all the time) or to act as an advisor to the government, feel free to drop me a PM. I don't want this government to be an "old boys club". I want it to be open and inclusive. However it may turn out this way if no one applies.
I will be coordinating this cabinet with my Prime Minister, Mr Woldy who has agreed to serve as my Vice President!
Part of this increased accountability will entail much more cooperation with congress. Mr Woldy the vice president, acting separately to the Liaison officer (who's main role is to keep congress and the public informed) will act as the go between between congress and the government, unless there are direct questions to act a minister or myself. As a member of congress himself, I think Mr Woldy would be suited to this role. Congress can therefore propose anything they want to propose, as they are the finalising body of course, I merely act as a public face to the government. Anything they propose will be relayed instantly to government.
I plan to introduce a way for the public to bring up policy points and ways for them to prompt referendums and public consultations.
I will also personally answer any and all questions in either weekly, or more than weekly Prime Minister's Questions articles, how often depends on the need.
4. Finally, on the domestic side of things I plan to introduce a new show, (TITLE WORK IN PROGRESS) eBBC!
This will be done via beam.pro and will be a series of livestreams done by me and other members of the eUK public. We plan to have competitions, prizes, interactive games with the audience (such as Jackbox Party Pack!) as well as run downs of the news of the eUK!
These will be promoted via articles and will consist of some erepublik discussion and some gaming live streams!
Finally eUK, Happy New Year, have a wonderful night getting absolutely sloshed! I on the other hand have been given the night shift, so wish me look in staying sane. I hope you consider me for the role of Country President, and apologies for the wall of text!

I see you’ve gone the serious business approach……..prepare to defend yourself
Couple of questions;
1. You’re a self-proclaimed ‘Socialist’ what does this mean in terms of the game and how you’d like the UK to develop?
2. You’ve been MoFA for a while. The UK was until very recently wiped and not a member of an alliance – What went wrong?
One of the many hats you wear is also PP or the WRP. Given its current position I have 2 related questions;
3. Does the WRP have a future?
4. As the WRP has declined in numbers so has the UK, in light of the fact that you’ve not been able to arrest that decline at a party level – Do you have any plans for retention and growth or will this be another month of managed decline?
5. You’ve made a point of talking about communicating more with the citizens yet aside from this article your last and only other article this month was back on the 3rd December. Many CP’s trot out this line so……why should we believe you?

1. In terms of the game, I think having a committee and cabinet style government rather than a centralised figure helps towards this. Ran by the people for the people etc. I'd like the UK to become more communally ran.
2. I have been MoFA for a while true 😉 I started playing back when the UK could actually go on the offensive. Unfortunately where we go wrong and where we don't perform is in coordinating our damage as a nation, especailly and nororiously in air battle rounds. We left PLUTO which I had a huge role in actually helping us join in the first place because the alliance matierialised into nothing, and despite how often we are wiped (They love our fish regions) we always come back from it in some way or another. This last month for example 😉

3. I think the WRP will always have a future. Under my leadership they have dropped out of the top 5 twice, and on the first occasion recovered out of sheer stubborness. They maintained a healthy level of membership whilst the other parties declined. We may not have a future as a top 5 party, but being the top 6th party, with membership of 15+ the 7th party, we still have an influence in elections, ESOs performance in the congress election as an example, and will be able to sway the line between close elections.
4. I think unfortunately we are going through a stagnation at the moment. The population is dropping rapidly. I would love to be able to stop that. All we can do is try to hold the attention of the few remaining players.
5. Apart from this article, I haven't had to communicate more with the citizens. My line as foreign affairs minister has been to liase and communicate with our allies and enemies, as I have been doing. You should believe me because if elected, I will actually have a reason to communicate to you all moreso.
PLUTO was doing fine until you left, so I blame you for everything 😃
