Hello all, my name is Ash Brandon and I am the Secretary General of The Unity Party.

While there has been ~~a great deal~~ a little bit of excitement to start the month, it has been relatively dry. So that's why they call it Dry January... However, here is an update from The Unity Party!

Presidential Election Recap

On the 5th, WayneKerr and AMD battled it out hour by hour in the polls as they viciously fought for what they thought was rightly theirs: the Presidency.

Fortunately for us and the other parties that rallied behind AMD, our hard efforts paid off and AMD was elected. To put the icing on the cake, ~~we made~~ AMD chose several TUP members in his cabinet to help him represent the country.

Party Presidential Election Recap

The results are still being tallied by the Election Committee, but sources close to the party headquarters are saying Madelina de Melrose has been re-elected The Unity Party president!

Congratulations, Madame President! Here's to another successful month in office and the rise of TUP to the #1 spot once again!

Congress Elections

Unfortunately, at the time of writing this article, the eUK has no regions and cannot sustain a Congress for the upcoming month. Do not fear!

It is most important, especially at times of uncertainty, to remain calm and collected. AMD, his cabinet, our allies, and other members of the government are all working to resolve the aforementioned problem. Always refer to the Ministry of Defence DO when unsure about where/when/how hard to hit.

If we are successful in any effort made before Congress filing deadline, there will be an article posted about February's TUP Congress.

Miscellaneous...

There is a push for a either a new "private group" or forum on the old forums. TUP members, voice your opinion here. If you're not a member of TUP but would still like to see work done to the forums, voice your opinion below in the comments. 100 Q7 food to the two best arguments as to why or why not we should update/keep the forums.

'our hard efforts paid off'

If we look at the numbers, the only time I ever won a higher percentage was the time I was elected. 33% last election and I won with a 38%. A difference of 5%! It was a 7 fold increase in my support from the previous month. If anything your 'hard efforts' helped me out by annoucing that I was back, most hadn't noticed or paid attention.

Now your gonna have to step up your choice of candidate for fear of gettig a Wayne month!
