Join the new world

It was one article, a simple newspaper piece, published by one of the most veteran eKiwis (Koska De STRAH) which has finally shed light on the current situation that our tiny and proud nation is faced with.

Honestly is what this article has provided, an honest assessment of the current state of our nation. Of the inactive citizenry we are faced with, of the huge powers which currently occupy us and of the depressing economic picture we are currently gripped by.

These are sadly, the signs of our time. The current 139 eKiwis left in this game bear a huge burden. For it is on our shoulders that revival of this proud nation is set to take place and we must take up this task and carry the weight of this country if we are to succeed and return to the map of the New World.



The answers we have sought as to how our nation has found itself in such a trying circumstances has now been offered. The words that Koska has spoken should be taken as a sign to our members of the level of work that will be required as we move forward.

Much like the great New Zealand All Blacks (who have just repeated as Rugby World Cup Champions) we need to unite, work as a team and present a strong front to the outside forces which have left our nation in a state of decline.

We share a proud history since coming to the shores of the New World in October of 2010 and five years on, it falls to those of us who remain eKiwis to show the world that we can restore this nation to a place of pride.



What I'm asking all eKiwis and those expats who now call another nation home in this game to do is read the article published by Koska, think about the words he says and the ideas he has proposed to bring our country back. They are worth discussion and finally addressing how we will shake this nation out of the trace it finds itself in.

This is just the beginning. Consider this the first words of a great figure who is finally asking his fellow citizens to stop hiding behind mask of failure by the most active and to look into the mirror at the face of the people who are needed to rebuild this country.



With these words I'm declaring today that I will heed the call of Koska and lend my name, to what I hope will be the countless others, who believe that eNZ needs to rise again and that it can be accomplished if we work together, unite and heed the words of a figure who more than many others, understands what needs to be done.

I look forward to helping in this new adventure as we move forward.
