The SFP would like to propose another mechanism for the eInternationale that should allow for a steady flow of CC or Gold into the organization for use.

Prologue:

The Socialist Freedom Party has successfully created a Producer Cooperative system in eUSA. A Producer Cooperative is:

an organization of Producers that is democratically operated and controlled by Producers, who pool and share their resources to gain better bargaining power and to increase the income of the constituent Producers.

In the SFP Producer Cooperative system, the constituent Producers gather into a Group Message, elect a Treasurer from amongst themselves, and then send some of their daily income from the products they produce and sell on the market - to the elected Treasurer each day or to an Org controlled by the producers.

These funds grow over time and are documented in a Running Ledger that is made available to the Producers of the Cooperative. Each Producer contributes to a pool of funds that they can then request CC or Gold from to buy more companies, upgrades, and supplies.

Proposal:

In my previous post on the eInternationale Forum, (Comrades of the eWorld Must Unionize) I covered the eHistorical and ePhilosophical views formed over the years of systematic degradation and hyper-capitalization of eRepublik that are shared amongst my party colleagues. I also called for an overhaul of the meta-game usually played by leftists and leftist organizations across the eWorld. When I wrote this piece I had not previously considered the difficulty of implementing a Worker Cooperative system.

I decided to search for alternatives and found that I could adapt the real world Producer Cooperative model to eRepublik.



Once I discovered this alternative, I immediately drew up plans to implement this into the game, writing the By-Laws of the SFP Producer Cooperative. Now that a definitive model has been established, I would like to propose an eInternationale-wide system; encouraging the parties that constitute the eInternationale to create Producer Cooperatives of their own - and almost more importantly - to Federate them under a Treasurer system controlled by both the producers of each cooperative involved, and the delegates of the eInternationale.



Comrades, I ask that you make the effort to implement this system within your own parties, creating Cooperatives of your own whose Producer Cooperative Treasurers would meet in a Group Message and on the eInternationale Forum with all Producers of all the Producer Cooperatives in the ICF. Each Producer Cooperative Treasurer will send in funds each day to an elected eInternationale Treasurer (The amount of which will be chosen and set by the Producers of the particular Producer Cooperative)

The eInternationale Treasurer should be democratically elected from amongst all of the Producers operating within the Federation and by the delegates from each party within the eInternationale

This will open up a clear line of consistent funding for the eInternationale to further its endeavors and to allow for the creation of international programs.








Line of Funding and Daily Operation:


(Producers -> a Cooperative Treasurer) -> (eInternationale Treasurer)



Clearly the more Producer Cooperatives there are in operation the more lines of funding open for the eInternationale.





eInternationale Treasurer Duties:

- To hold the Treasury of the eInternationale or to oversee an Org in which the Treasury is held

- To keep track of the funds sent by the Producer Cooperative Treasurers and by Donors each day as well as the eInternationale Treasury

- To respond to eInternationale Treasury Checks with the required information

- To send funds from the eInternationale Treasury whenever a vote to allocate funding passes, to the specified location

- To Send the eInternationale Treasury to the next Elected eInternationale Treasurer or to hand over the Pass and Login info for whatever Org holds the treasury

-To report the total amount of funds received for the day on the ICF Group Message and to the eInternationale







Affiliated Producer Cooperative Treasurer Duties:

-To send the funds specified by your Producer Cooperative’s Producers each day to the Elected eInternationale Treasurer


-To keep track of the funds sent to the eInternationale Treasurer each day that were generated by your Producer Cooperative’s Producers.







Election of the eInternationale Treasurer:

-Any Delegate or Producer within the Producer Cooperative Federation or eInternationale can be on the ballot for eInternationale Treasurer

-All Delegates and Producers receive one vote

-The vote is conducted on the eInternationale Forum and in the Producer Cooperative Federation Group Message and all votes are counted on both and totalled. The vote count is then checked by the delegates and producers for accuracy.

-The candidate Delegate or Producer with at least 50% of the total Delegate and Producer vote is elected Treasurer of the eInternationale







Requesting Funding For Project or Program:

-Any Delegate or Producer can request funding from the eInternationale for a Project

-All requested funds for projects or programs should be proposed on the eInternationale Forum

-Debate for a project or program should take place on the forum, and in the eInternationale Group Message as well as the Producer Cooperative Federation Group Message. Proposals should be reported to both Group Messages by the eInternationale Treasurer.

-A Hybrid Forum-Group Message vote should be conducted, in which the votes cast in both of the Group Messages are added to the votes cast on the forum. A proposal that gets 50% or more of the total Delegate and Producer votes should pass, and the specified funding should be allocated for the specified reasons to the specified Orgs or Accounts, in the Proposal.









Conclusion

In conclusion,

I propose that willing parties associated with the eInternationale create Producer Cooperatives of their own of a similar or identical model to the one stated in the references section of this proposal under an elected eInternationale Treasurer and federated into an overarching organization called the ICF,

the creation of another Group Message that includes all of the producers and treasurers of these Cooperatives including an elected eInternationale Treasurer,

and that all affiliated Cooperatives of the newly created ICF send some of the funds received by their producers on the market each day to the elected eInternationale Treasurer or Org overseen by said eInternationale Treasurer.

The amount of funds sent each day should be left up to each individual Cooperative.

This will open up several lines of funding and will ensure a steady income to the eInternationale for use in eRepublik. It also will allow each party affiliated with the eInternationale to practice a form of Market Socialism - thus achieving some of the goals of the eInternationale and leftist movements in the game.
