Dear Citizens of the eUnited Netherlands,

Today was a good day! I received my first Media Mogul Medal, which leaves the Society Builder as the only medal left to my astonishing list of achievements. Presidency

Today our all-time President ThomasRED decided to step down and go fight for the Belgian cause as he felt he was ‘called to his destiny’. This leaves me in charge of the eUnited Netherlands, handling some difficult issues. First off, Thank you ThomasRED for all your work, and thanks a lot for putting me in this situation! Anyway it is nice to be the man in power after an absence of 10 months of this post.

Yea Kissinger already said, success will buy you an admission ticket to a more difficult problem, and yes it does!

eBelgium

As we have seen the developing story of eBelgium lately, we are now starting to see where things are going. To give a brief summary, We fought extremely hard together with the Brits to get back the Belgian territories to the union, and yes we succeeded!! However later on with Spain and Poland on the move towards us, they conquered the 3 Belgian regions, and started Resistance wars, to get Belgium back on the map, with the sole reason to create another front against our friends in the eUnited Kingdom. So they did, at the Phoenix headquarters we decided to put up a good fight and with allies soldiers from all over the world, we got 9 Real Belgians in congress (or at least people who has there best interests for eBelgium).



Now that they are in charge they are doing everything not to cooperate with us. Even our just impeached president, ThomasRED is seen as an enemy. They are completely ignorant to the fact that there is still a union between eNetherlands and eBelgium called eUnited Netherlands.

‘Nothing is worse than active ignorance.’

Some of those people, some real life Belgians and some EDEN supporters, have never cared about eBelgium when it was part of our Union and are showing up now like saviors and are exploiting the situation. They are so ignorant to the fact that we still live together and have a great thing going on. I personally can get along very well with the eBelgians in our Union and this count for most people.

Lets talk about Unity

Union

People might say, there is no union anymore, they are wrong!

A union is, in this case, a mutual agreement from 2 nationalities to live, act and be together united in ONE country.



And heck yes we are still living together! And we are still strong! Therefore I say

Don’t be afraid eUNL citizens, Do not lose hope, we will be United soon again! We will be prosperous again!
Soon, and sooner than you think, we will end this drama!

The UNION will stand!

Laws

So enough anger in the last part, now lets get back to our every day political life. Today a new citizen fee and lower minimum wage have been proposed. I support both laws, as they will increase the value of our NLG and will keep more NLG from disappearing (NLG which is in accounts of dead people, will disappear) Today the new citizen fee law was proposed, and the lower minimum wage law is currently discussed on the forum.

Phoenix

Phoenix operations have been quite active the past few days, which resulted in some nice victories. We saw France gaining back 4 more regions, thus giving them and Phoenix a much better position to liberate the rest of Europe, As President of the eUNL I will fully support Phoenix operations and will try to maximize our contribution to the operations.


Furthermore the ‘Subscribe for a Friend’ program has been initiated, this will give the treasury of some Phoenix countries some extra cash. And participants get a Media Mogul Medal. I highly recommend you to participate in the program and to subscribe to all newspapers. I would like to thank Trinc and Yasupa for doing such a great job, managing all this within the eUnited Netherlands.

Elections

New elections will follow shortly, on the 5th of January we will be voting on a new President. I have been thinking of running, but I decided not to, and give the chance to Mitch Rapp. A very active member of the Iron and Wine party, he will receive my full support on the 5th, as I think he will be the best choice for the eUnited Netherlands at the moment. Good luck Mitch!
