[PRE] Keywords: Transparency, communication and teamwork

Day 568, 12:13 Published in Malaysia Malaysia by Prime Minister's Department

Let's continue where I finished the last update, namely with government plans and actions.🙂

1. Ensuring maximum transparency

I have mentioned in my campaign article before the elections that I'd like to put more emphasis on transparency. In my opinion a good government works transparently with citizens being able to follow its actions easily, communicates regularly and facilitates debates both inside the government and for the wider audience which hopefully leads to successful teamwork.

This is what I had in mind when I opened several topics on the national forum in the (edit🙂 Congress and Government section which you can find here: LINK

Right now only the members of the government can write there and debate between themselves but everyone can read what's happening, how the decisions are made and so on. In the future I'm looking forward to appointing more advisors with writing rights to this forum section. I also encourage people to open parallel topics in the General, Society, Economy and Military sections of the forum if they want to share their views. I'll be ready to engage in discussions there as well and I'm sure other government members, too.

(Edit: There was a little misunderstanding so the forum is restructured now. The Congress section has been renamed to Congress and Government so every congress and government member will be able to take part in government discussions while other citizens have reading rights in this section. The Government section remains as a secret room for delicate issues. This means all congress members are now essentially government advisors, too. Thanks to Gustavius for the fix.)

I also plan to make a Google spreadsheet that will be open to the public audience to follow where government officials will carefully note down all spendings and transactions involving government organizations. This will hopefully ensure maximum transparency.
By the same spirit government members are asked not to use state owned orgs for private business (storing items, gifting oneself, etc.) to keep donation lists less cluttered and more easy to follow.

2. Monetary market

Yesterday the Central Bank decided to stabilize the exchange rate of the MYR at 0.007 gold. We hope that this will have a positive effect on our economy by boosting exports and providing a better environment for further investments. Stabilizing the MYR at 0.008 gold seemed premature and would have caused a too sharp deflation taking into account that roughly 2.5-3 weeks ago the MYR was at 0.006 gold. For further debates and information I advise everyone to check out the following two articles - one pro and one against this move: Pro - Against

3. Training companies

Most likely the q1 wood company will be closed down for now as several land companies have reopened lately so we are well supplied with good workplaces for citizens with landskill at q2 and q3 companies. New citizens will be directed to the housing company which has 13 workers at this point and produced its first house just 1-2 hours ago. The q1 food company also stays operational of course providing q1 food for 3 MYR at most.

That's all for now, and thank you for your attention.🙂

Best regards,
Nagyzee
