[NZ] Let Slip the Dogs of War

Day 1,057, 06:12 Published in New Zealand USA by Myles Robinson

Or, at least let the new countries slip into war.

If you look on the administration pages of every one of the old countries in the entirety of the New World, you will see the admin has proposed alliances on behalf of the new countries. This means that we will pretty much be able to fight anywhere and everywhere for the next month. Grorious news! I fully expect everyone to take part in the free XP.

If you are in the NZDF, stay tuned to military leaders for orders. We will be using this month to practice coordination for the military so we can help get more organized for when our 45 day grace period is ended. If you aren't in the military, sign up here for mobile forces and sign up here for home forces.

Other Kiwi News
The Forums are experiencing technical difficulties for many people still. However, funds have been secured to switch servers to one that is more stable and will also allow us to play around with things more. This should be up within a week or so.

Want to get involved? Read this article by the Ministry of Public Information and then this article from the Ministry of Fun and Sheep. Also, sign up for the military (links provided above)!

She wants you to get involved. For the sheep.

Party Elections are a few days away. Stay tuned for information regarding ATO efforts and the creation of a unity party. To go over things again-- right now, New Zealand has open citizenship. This means anyone can move here and join, which leaves us open to potential hostile take-over. Once a Congress is elected, citizenship is closed and we can get a hold on immigration. So, to get us through just the first round of Congress elections, we are organizing one party to put forth unity candidates in order to ensure that people who have eKiwi's best interests at heart are elected. Once we get through this, you are free to waste your gold creating more parties-- just please be patient and wait until after Congress is secured. Follow this newspaper for ATO support.

There has been a lot of talk about the foreign policy alignment of this nation right now, in the media and on the forums. Let me say right now that, apart from planning to go conquer Wales, as the Provisional Leader I have no intention of making the country take a side between EDEN and Phoenix right now. We are staying unaligned during the provisional government, as it is merely a provisional government. Once a Congress and President are elected, they can decide who to align with-- vote for candidates who present foreign policies you agree with. Until then, though, I do not believe it to be the place of a provisional government to put us into one sphere or another.

Other News
Alexander Hamilton, Vice President of the eUSA, is a kommie squirrel.

Pakistan continues its march into India unhindered. Colin Lantrip, eUS President, issued a poem informing the Holy Empire of Pakistan that the United States will be marching on Karnataka to claim it as "Far Eastern Florida" soon. This prompted a retaliatory haiku from St Krems, former eUS President and current citizen of Pakistan, saying that Karnataka belongs to Pakistan now and not the United States.

Lieutenant Scheisskopf, one of the greatest military commentators in the eWorld, explains recent military events across the globe, including the Dioist onslaught into India and the Polish push into Russia.

The latest insider is out, explaining the MPP rules among other things. Important to note is that the admin has decided to delay the implementation of new hospital rules "for an indefinite period of time."
However, a media-silencing decision has been made. They have restricted the media access of nations, meaning it is now impossible for countries to communicate with each other via the media. Now, you can only publish articles in the nations that you have citizenship. It is said to stop spam, but the detriments may be far worse. We shall see how this pans out. I will say now that the only way I became a Media Mogul was by being able to publish in multiple countries-- now, citizens of small nations (so many nations have fewer than 1000 subscribers) might never be able to achieve a Media Mogul. This means now that if people want exposure, they will have to spend a fortune on world-wide ads.

That's all for now. Any questions can be PM'd to me, or I can be reached on IRC in either #Myles-Office or #eNewZealand on the Rizon server.

Love,
