[MoFA] Progress Report

Day 1,715, 09:57 Published in Pakistan Pakistan by Kutluk Bilge Kul Ishamael

Greetings ePakistanis!

In my previous article, I promised an article towards the end of the current administration to show the major happenings in the e-world and how ePakistan as a country has reacted to them. The first part of this article will feature the recent happenings of this world since our current administration took office, while the second part deals with how e-Pakistan has reacted to these changes.

Can-Am War

By far the biggest (and most highlighted) event of the past fortnight has been the US/Canada war, which has caused massive debate both inside and outside eUS about that country’s foreign policy. While supporters of the war see it as fun and exciting, and ultimately more rewarding than fighting for EDEN in their endless Balkan conflicts, others see it as backstabbing one of their best friends and allies in game for temporary entertainment and no real benefit – as eUS already enjoyed 100/100 bonuses before the war. As Pakistan is allied with USA, we provided help and continue to stay loyal to our friends in Eus throughout this war.

Problems in ONE

ONE continues to experience problems, with Poland now likely to officially leave the super-alliance next. A referendum of the Polish populace showed 71.25% in favour of leaving the alliance and starting afresh. While this issue is currently being debated in the Polish Congress, one can almost certainly expect Poland to leave ONE in face of intense popular pressure as well as whispers about the revival of CTRL.

Drama in EDEN
EDEN which has generally been rock solid as an alliance while the rest of the world continues to dilly-dally, has had to face issues of its own, with the Ukraine-Russia war. While these two countries aren’t best friends in RL, they’ve generally tolerated eachother quite well in eRepublik. However, this has changed recently, with Ukraine declaring Russia as NE and therefore, shredding apart its MPP stack (apart from Turkiye and Argentina, with whom Russia refuses to sign an alliance). Since then, its been downhill for the Ukrainians, who have faced attacks from Bulgaria, Moldova and Russia and continue to lose territories and resources at a fast pace.

Pakistan’s Reaction

Pakistan has continued with its approach of a pro-active foreign policy initiated at the start of the month, and provided help to its allies and MPP nations on a regular basis for the entire duration of this month.
We have also managed to secure two new MPPs with Bulgaria and Sweden. The Bulgarian MPP allows us more options to move forward in the Middle-East/Eastern European theater of war while our time difference with the Swedes allows us both to be available incase of awkward night times for each other. We hope to continue to grow and build relations with all of our brother nations, both old and new.

This concludes our foreign policy analysis for this month, I hope my fellow ePakistani brothers are satisfied with the progress achieved and we continue to consolidate our position, both internally and in the larger world.
