[MoFA] Progress Report

Day 1,702, 15:47 Published in Pakistan Pakistan by Kutluk Bilge Kul Ishamael

Greetings ePakistanis!

Its been quite a while since my last article, so I thought I would as my job as MoFA, update you all on the current state of the e-world and how ePakistan has reacted to it.

The first part of this article will feature the recent happenings of this world since our current administration took office, while the second part deals with how e-Pakistan has reacted to these changes.

TERRA on its deathbed

The month started with bad news for the TERRA super-alliance: Brazil left the alliance citing issues with Romanian PTO-ers. It went from bad to worse with USA voting to leave it next, because of them providing most of the damage in the alliance. The remaining countries (Germany, Cyprus, France, Canada) seem to have an uncertain fate for now particularly with the USA declaring Canada as a NE and war starting in North America.
This opened certain new possibilities for other countries (Spain for example has been able to secure MPPs with both USA and Brazil), and can definitely be considered one of the interesting changes in E-rep for quite a while. A lot remains to be seen how this will reflect on the e-world but one can expect serious changes from this move.

The weakening of ONE

Weaknesses in TERRA have been mirrored with weaknesses in ONE. Discontent has been witnessed from Poland, and the rivalry between Macedonia (FYROM) and Poland has reached high levels. Indonesia and Spain have also recently expressed displeasure with the alliance, with Spain likely to be on the way out. The dissolution of EPIC has also decreased organization in the smaller countries of the alliance.

Pakistan’s reaction

MPPs with several of our brother nations have been renewed and we have been shown our loyalty and trust to them. However, this month has been characterized with us improving our MPP stack considerably, although the total number of our MPPs remains rather low compared to other countries.

A MPP with Spain has been signed. We have had great contact with them and had been fighting on the same side as them since our times in EPIC, and I believe this is a great thing for our country.

We have also managed to secure a MPP with USA. USA and Pakistan have traditionally had good relations because of Dioist links, which were ignored because of being in opposing alliances in the past. However, a recent renewal in this relationship has occurred and we are delighted to have secured this MPP.

This is all for now. I will be doing another fortnightly review towards the end of administration.
