[MoF] The New Economic Order

Day 4,739, 04:32 Published in Netherlands Netherlands by Ministerie van Economische Zak

Dear Citizens,

The past few weeks have seen some interesting changes that will define the economy (and war) for years to come. The reshuffling of resources following the Resource Wars, and the implementation of further upgrades in the Aircraft Industry branch are the most relevant for us in the eNetherlands. We will have to deal and adapt to having two 100% bonuses in food and air and the consequences that come with it. The Ministry of Finance will therefore bring out some advice that can guide you as citizen in making use of these changes to the benefit of our country.

Food & Air Industries
If everything went well, you collected quite some ‘Factory Relocation Tokens’ over the past few weeks that allow you to freely move your (raw) companies. We suggest that you move all your Food and Air Industries to the Netherlands for uninterrupted production (i.e. no TW troubles), one of the best possible bonuses in the world and for the simple fact it keeps your money and tax inside our country!

Western Netherlands, Eastern Netherlands and Southern Netherlands are the newly designated safe areas for production. These will never be occupied by foreign nations for Training War purposes. Western Netherlands has the highest possible bonus in food production, whilst Southern Netherlands has almost equally so in air production. In general, however, all regions should suffice for moderate production in these two industries.

We urge you to move these industries from abroad to the Netherlands and expand upon them during the coming Black Friday discounts. If one does not have enough Factory Relocation Tokens or CC to move them back home, the Government is here to help out. Citizen Ynotna has, for example, received 170 000 cc to move his remaining food companies to Amsterdam.

Black Friday & Anniversary
On the 27th of November, Black Friday arrives once again. Based on the previous years, some moderate discounts can be expected on factory upgrades and Energy Bars. Equal to our initiative last year, there will be a ‘Black Friday Fund’ to aid our citizens. Since we now own local bonuses, the focus will be especially put on Food Production (and possibly Air) though there will be general support for the others. Be sure to save all the gold you can the following weeks, since we only pay after your own investment!

November will also see the event of ‘eRepublik Anniversary’. Based on previous years as well, we can expect 13 days of rewards, extended weekly challenges and a new tank skin. So do not only save gold, but food (!) and tanks as well as the output will increase significantly.

Residencies and Housing (Thanks Feynmann!)
Our awesome bonuses has seen a significant increase in people that reside in the Netherlands, especially in the capital city of Amsterdam (Western Netherlands). The city is almost nearing the threshold of turning into a ‘Large Town’ which significantly decreases the durability of your houses. Since Western, Eastern and Southern Netherlands are all safe regions, it is a wise idea to spread out and make sure none of them hit past 50 permanent residents so we can all enjoy the longest-lasting houses.
