I have personally stated numerous times for my support of CoT, and moving closer to the US. However the Canadian Progressive Front has not stepped out and supported any particular alliance, because we don't. Democracy is about letting the people speak, and vote. I do believe you were chosen as leader right? I am elected, in a democratic way, if our members don't feel I represent them, then they don't vote for me.

We have just under 3 months to debate our alliance situation, in that time the CPF will operate in a Democratic fashion, not a Dictatorship way like your own party.

I suppose it was democratic when we were pushed into an Alliance without any say in the matter?

That's called representative democracy. It's simply a variety of democracy.

An elected dictatorship would be what you had for the prior 8 months, or even the MDP dictatorship that was obtained with a super-majority of congress.

I don't think you can consider this government to be an "elected dictatorship."

I was surprised when I returned at the CPF's approach to issues in general, the party has evolved quite a bit since I left over two years ago. I would like to delve deeper into this over the next month.

CPF did not push for a democratic process in getting eCan to join CoT and I think that is an issue, CoT was thrust upon eCanada by a CP supported by less than three in ten voters and it was presented to a half congress decimated by a game mechanic.

I applaud CPF for showing leadership on the issue, sometimes you just have to make a decision. The issue I have is that it wasn't nearly as democratic as represented nor was it held to the democratic standard set for the decision to join Asgard.

Ironcially, eCanada's entrance into CoT appears as dictatorial an act as MDP is represented to be.

The horrible situation isn't being in CoT, the horrible situation is being thrust into an alliance without testing the will of the people. Any measure of consensus building or "straw polling" would have gone far to avoid this. For this, there should be some concern, if not fear.

When you say look at the voting numbers, are you talking about the half congress that voted on the in-game motion?
