[Legion] I'm on a Boat!

So, lots of changes and events to discuss this week.

In The Navy

First order of business - Legion and our compatriots in the Royal Navy MU will be hosting a joint strike on Sunday June 17th at 7 pm. The irc channel for the strike will be provided in the Legion feed that day. Q6 tanks will be provided based on the amount of food fights you have available to you (so other than food, your fights are free!). Additionally, for those that prefer to not use irc, you can simply post in the Legion feed and receive 3 free Q6 tanks for being online and fighting in the same battle. As one of the purposes of this event is to meet and socialize with different eUK players, fewer tanks are given to those who request ingame.

New Military Module Changes

The admins have stirred themselves to create some new military changes, and as a result we will be reorganizing our Legion regiments to maximize the benefits of the new changes. Max Blue does a good recap here: http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/military-module-changes--2057181/1/20, if you aren't up to speed with the changes.

In the coming days some of you will be asked to change regiments. We will be creating regiments that are classed by the current divisions you fall under. This way we can tailor orders directly to the divisional groups, and allot damage that way. Procedurally, this will mean that you will be invited to join a different regiment. All you need to do is accept when requested, and we will all be on our happy way. Keep an eye out for a PM!



Captain Elections

With these new changes, the Captain role takes on new precedence and responsibility. We will be electing new captains on the 15th, and a suggested list of appropriate captains will be provided on the Legion feed tomorrow. Are you interested in serving as a captain? Please apply directly to me. We need players of all ages and ranks, to reflect the new divisional structure. Activity and communication are the two most desirable traits - not age or experience or ability to dance a jig.




Supply Changes

Some supply changes to announce:

1. Free food will be provided to every player in Division 1 and 2 upon request.
2. Supplies for working in a Legion company increases to 12 Q6 daily, a wage that is far and above higher than what is offered on the UK job market.

We will follow the impacts of the new changes and may decide to increase these supplies further in the coming weeks. Rewards will continue to be offered, which can be claimed simply by posting on the Legion feed.
