The recent history of the UK is undeniable. Minus a glorious Wayne, we have recently, to be frerk, been awful. Our media was always boring and full of moralfaps or dapperfaps, but at least there was something. And whilst I'm sure updates about speaking to the President of Japan will enthral and encapsulate the next generation of bland and steady seat fillers when no-one else really wants to do anything, where is the dastardly?
Where are the schemes? Where is the bawwwww? In the past we had Piain in the shadows, Dish in the kitchen and literally the coolest guy ever moralfapping everywhere. It's true that it is nice to not have to worry about dat gorram bigantdapper, but at the same time, is there anything to think about at all?
It says a lot when even MoD orders can make it into the top 5. Seriously, what is this and how do I stop it? The UK needs some crazy.

It is time for a change, UK. We don't need anything new, everything 'new' has proven that change is bad. It is time for a refresh. A reboot. It is time to revert and undo everything we did. Some may claim we've Charlie Sheen'd, but the day articles as enthralling as this grace our media is the day any trace of tiger within our blood is bored to a painful and mediocre death.
Bring back 2009. Bring back the House of Lords, The Navy, Military Command, Legislation, The Party President's Council. Anything, please God anything, to patch over the dullness that we have been blindly lead into.

eRep is dying. The UK, as a smaller nation, is feeling the effects of this decline sooner, rather than later. When I joined eRep (two and a half years ago) there were over 250,000 players. I've heard, from older players, that it used to be even higher. Today that figure is 97,000. Most of this decline, in numbers, has happened in the past year. When you consider that probably three quarters of these players are essentially inactive, it becomes clear that eRep is on it's last legs. Especially when even most of the 'active' players do little more than the DO. This is partly due to the owners making the game less interesting by neglecting the economic and political modules... but it's partly due to the natural life cycle of a browser-based game. I'd be very surprised if the owners didn't pull the plug, some time in the next 12 months...

There needs to be an explosion of new players, or the game continues it's slow decline.
