So I was going to wait a day or two in between the articles, but then I realized there really isn't that much time left and I'm bored so why not just write it now.

The Military
So I'm not really on the inside of what is happening in the military, but after being in IRC during the war and just seeing comments and articles about it, I think it's safe to say the eMalaysian military is once again disorganized. The good news is, there appears to be plenty of willing recruits, something that hasn't been true in the past. So at this point organization is truly the one thing keeping our military from being a respectable force(not a world force, just respectable).
I have a considerable amount of experience with military affairs. I have been a platoon leader in the eUS Army, a battalion commander in SolDiers, two time commander of the TDM and the MoD of PACMAN. I know how to run a military and I know how to supply it, so rather than appointing an MoD in my cabinet I've chosen to instead act as MoD if I am elected CP. I will appoint a deputy MoD which I will help train so that they can one day be the MoD under a different president. However, I don't want to appoint an MoD because that would infer that he is in charge of military affairs which is something that I want to personally head rather than just oversee.
The Problems
It appears that either the military doesn't have a supply system or it is not set up very well if it does. It's a pretty simple matter to get some companies into existence which can help the army to rank up faster and fight harder. In the past eMalaysia had thousands of weapons in reserve for days when it went to war, during the eSG war I don't even know whether the military/gov't provided weapons to anyone.
The organization of the military itself appears to be lacking. I don't actually know who is currently in charge or if they have a command structure in place or how they issue orders...the list goes on. These are easy problems to take care, someone just has to step up and do it.
The military has nothing to do. It isn't exciting, there is absolutely no benefit right now to joining the military. If you provide weapons and give soldiers places to fight (i.e deployments) the military can become extremely fun and make the game more enjoyable for everyone involved. This is also a good foreign affairs tactic, we can help those nations that like us and in return they'll help us when we need it.

MoD+CP+organizing army= painful job. should elect someone rather than do it on your own. contact and regroup current guys doing that job and re-organized 😛

It's not a one man job to be a president.
One thing I would ask myself is, "Who will work FOR me?"

Since there is none available for me... it's a slim chance that I'll be a president.

Nice, but honestly, many CP's have tried to be a minister and CP, but it always doesn't work. I tell you that from experience. Please, appoint someone.

Blitz who are you? I don't mean that in a bad way, it's just that you seem to be knowledgable about the military and yet I've never heard of you. Please PM me, I'd like to talk.
Sorry, I have a tendency to expect people to just get certain points. My plans to solve these problems lie within the problems themselves. Most of the things I listed point out what I'm going to do, (i.e I'm not sure if there is a command structure, so I'm going to make one if there isn't) know what I mean? The only thing I feel needs to be spelled out is the acquisition of military companies which I need to do some more brainstorming on before I publish.
Thedark, my decision to be MoD and CP is:
1. Not concrete yet
2. More the problem of titles and not actual responsibilities.
I'm going to leave the simpler responsibilities of the MoD to the vMoD to better prepare them for later. As CP I'm not going to do a whole lot more than a normal CP would anyway, I simply want to head the effort myself rather than having an extra middle man, do you know what I mean?
And don't think for a second I'm going to try to do everything myself if I get elected. As far as the military goes, yes I'll be taking on extra, but in everything else, especially the economic and foreign affairs aspects, I will have an actual minister that does the work and then reports to me.

are you sure you know about most, if not all, of the changes made by Admin lately? You've been 2-clicking for a few months as far as I know, and your article about pros and cons showed how outdated your information are. So are you sure what in your mind is doable and suitable for this moment?
What is your idea about getting army to rank up faster and fight harder? Also, eMalaysia had thousands of Q1 weapon in the past if I'm correct, comparing to Q5 weapons we have nowadays. How can we compare on this?
I'm not trying to be too harsh, but next term's CP will be crucial. We have no congress, we cannot impeach CP if he's doing something wrong. The CP is basically holding all the power and he can make all decisions on his own..
I do know the changes, I've been updated. My pros and cons article only had one incorrect fact, and I corrected it. Didn't say fight harder or rank up faster. I said I'd make it more exciting to be in. Yes it was Q1 as opposed to Q5, but I was more referring to the fact that we had stockpiles at all.
Your absolutely right, the CP will have absolute power this month. But how many times have I fought against dictators in eMY and when have I gone free lance with authority I've been given? I think my track record speaks for itself

I don't know if you're really updated. The chaos created because of your intention of running for CP an lack of knowledge about the existance of PKeM's party constitution pretty much showed the effect of not getting up to date.. Don't use you were not informed as an excuse, you should make the effort of getting to know the party if you have intention of representing the party for the CP election
Besides open citizenship, resource bonus also changed and you didn't know about it before you were told.
We had a hell lot of stockpiles in Q5 tanks, nearly 1k Q5, and thats just from 4-5 months of storage. We had 2.1k+ Q1 storage last time, I know because I saw it and asked someone to sell it when the price is still high. How much time it took for gov to store 2k Q1 weapons last time?
Also, pretty simple matter to get those companies? This showed you don't know much about some of the latest changes again xP
Did you read my post on Blitz's article? I asked JUJAI before I did anything else, what I needed to do to be PKeM's nomination or whether I could have it at all and he said go to the forums and make it known that I wanted to run. That is all he did, he didn't mention anything about the constitution, this chaos created was on JUJAI's head not mine. I made the effort to get updated, HE didn't update me.
Your right I didn't remember that resource bonuses were 20% now, but I know now so what's the difference.
What makes it so hard to get companies? Are you also subscribing to the belief that we can only use Q5 companies for the military, have we become so proud that we can't use anything less?
Erm... for a small nation like us. Q5 companies means everything to us. We will not survive with anything less.
Though other Q weapons are still a good replacement when we are out of stock.
Your lack of knowledge about current updates will create problems when you found out the old way doesn't work at current stage, especially next month, when the elected CP has all the power.
So.. in times of need.. you'll ask other strong tanks to come to fight for eMalaysia by donating them Q1-Q4 weapons? Will they be interested? In times of need, when all damages will count, you'll use anything less than Q5 weapon to maximize the output of the nation in order to defend her? Becoming CP isn't just a 1 term issue, you'll be building/rebuilding/continue building the platform for coming months.
Also, do you realize production of every goods quality companies are the same now? Q5 weapon company produces 14 Q5 tanks and Q1 weapon company produces 14 Q1 guns. Realize the difference in value/damage/usage in it? A Q5 company can give 70 fights, a Q1 company gives 14 fights. Are you also subscribing to the belief that it doesn't matter which quality of companies will be used in order to allow the army to rank up faster and fight harder, like you said in your article?
